My wife and I spent 3 nights there in the last few weeks. This property has everything you need. With so many choices on property you don't really ever have to leave to eat with the varieties of food. It backs up to the boardwalk which is convenient for exercise and if you want to, walking all the way down to South Beach. It also gives you access to other hotels and resteraunts without needing a cab or walking on the busy sidewalk on Collins Ave. We have been to Miami/Ft. Lauderdale dozens of times and this was the first time at The Fontainebleau and we will certainly stay here next time.

There are major renovations going on.............turning floors into residences so parts of the hotel is closed and a big inconvenience to get to the pool , restaurant etc..
Food at the restaurant and service is terrible, extremely poor service, waited 20 minutes for server to ask us what we wanted after asking for menu and waited 10 minutes for that, they got our simple order wrong........ distaster, avoid it.
The rooms are nice but the floors are not clean as they are doing some major reno and changes to the hotel.
