For the price, this was just what we needed; a safe, clean place to sleep in midtown. Don't expect lots of luxury down pillows and high thread count sheets; I would recommend this to people who are very price-conscious but don't want to go with AirBnB and still want to feel like they're in a "hotel". The room was very small with outdated furniture (and a squeaky bed), but the water pressure in the bathroom was great, and everything was fully functioning and very clean albeit used for years. We also had a phenomenal view of the Empire State Building and a very pleasant receptionist, which made my stay better than most, I think.

When we booked the king suite for four adults we were under the impression we would have a king bed in one room and a sofa bed in the sitting room so both couples could have a separate area. We were also told some of the suites had two bathrooms. When we checked in we were told that none of the suites had two baths and when we got to our suite found that there was a king bed and a queen bed in the bedroom and the sitting room did not have a sofa bed. We had to place the queen mattress on the floor of the sitting room and one couple had to sleep there. Overall the suite was spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave. It had a coffeemaker however no coffee was provided and we were not advised prior to our arrival or when we booked that they did not provide coffee. Nothing else was provided in the kitchenette either, such as silverware, glasses, plates, etc. The location of the hotel was excellent though and it was clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
