"Great Access to the Florida Keys"
Our reservation for 5 days was prepaid. Upon arrival, they couldn't find our reservation but because we prepaid (with receipt) they shuffled things and gave us a suite on the canal instead of a regular room with a view of the parking lot. This switch made all the difference in the world. We used the hotel as a base for our exploring the Florida Keys and each evening we sat on the balcony and watched the marine travel in the canal. Very pleasant. The suite was quite outdated but was clean.

"Old Florida Keys Style"
Check was easy...I was suprised to see that the hotel is situated within 50 feet of a radio/cell tower. The highway noise was significant, however if you got a waterfront room, you wouldn`t notice it. The room was fine. King bed and a little sitting area with fridge and micro. Walls are thin, though, and we shared a wall with a baby who woke up crying just before midnight. The cleaning was decent, but if you like everything to look sanitized and new, find another hotel. This is a no frills kind of place. We came with two kids 7 and 11, and it was heaven for them (they don`t mind paint peeling off the walls). Great place for families who like a DIY vacation.

"Great beach / not so great rooms."
This could be an excellent hotel...the beach setup is awesome. .but it's pretty dirty & the whole place REALLY needs a deep cleaning. Best way to describe it is they built a nice hotel 15-20 yrs ago...And no one has touched it since. No one there is setting a standard for cleanliness. I'm not even that picky...Just disappointed & expected more from a Hilton. A few examples : stains on the chair / rug / curtains / rust stains on sliding doors & curtains / roof is literally rotting / really thought I heard water dripping from the roof into our a/c vent which appeared to have mold inside it. Ice machines broke / elevators dirty & dusty. Beach chairs covered in bird crap or broken ( Saturday atleast we did see a lady cleaning the chairs on the main beach & tending to customers). Overall this is a fun hotel for family or couples just be warned....I would give the actual setup 5 stars...But the way it's maintained 2 stars at best.

"fun Sunday night"
we loved this place, minimal amenties, ie. no coffee in the room, but great party on Sunday night in the big Tiki Bar. View of the water and big boats was nice. Decent breakfast. The traffic was bad on route. Gilberts is north of Key Largo and it was a long drive to Key West, which is a cool place.

"Great setting on the water."
They are located right on the water. There is an outdoor area to sit and watch the sunset. Front desk staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere. My only compliant was the mattress was too firm for our comfort.

"Nice hotel. Very pretty pool area."
Only stayed one night. The beds were very comfortable. Very quiet. The only problem we had was light coming in around the curtains. We had them closed as much as possible but light was shining from the store next door. The light shined directly onto all of the pillow areas. We tried to push curtain over, but it was no help. Other than that, it was very nice.

Key Largo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Key Largo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Key Largo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
