"Lovely and lively hotel in the heart of Charleston"
Hotel had been redecorated since our last visit. It was beautiful. The Palmetto cafe is very open, bright and cheery. The staff were ALL on the same level as a Ritz Carlton in friendliness and helpfulness. Our only complaint was with housekeeping on Sunday. They were in our room cleaning at 5:30 just as we returned after a long day of sightseeing. We were ready for showers and a rest but had to wait. Also, the bathroom amenities were not complete either day we were there. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay for us. We would definitely return to the Charleston Place.

Came to Myrtle Beach to visit my daughter and her family. Was so nice to come back to the motel and have a nice clean room, clean towels and overall wonderful place to relax into. Highly recommend this place to stay. I will be back. My grandkids had an awesome time in the pools and lazy river. The couldn't wait to get back and go swimming.

We'll definitely stay again. The room had a fantastic ocean veiw with a balcony with chairs and it was nice, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool, hot tub and game room. We went for a quick weekend get away for all of us to de-stress and this was perfect.
