This is a time share property. Rooms are basically a two bedroom condo. Large and well appointed. Grounds are well maintained and there are 4 pools. The staff was very nice and the front desk person was able to get us into our unit at 1030 AM, which is early for a time share property. Two reasons why I can't give a 5 across the board is the noise from the upstairs units. We were on the first floor and could hear, I assume kids, running inside and outside their units. Small inconvenience but an inconvenience none the less. The second issue, which I admit is more of my problem, but we were in the area for spring training games. The property is not near the ball parks, most 45+ minutes away.

Typically, when visiting Tucson I stay w/ friends. However, I decided to opt for a hotel this time. Aloft was a fantastic option and an amazing stay. My first time staying w/ this brand started off top notch with my Check-in interaction. The gentleman was personable and genially excited to greet me. My room was hip fresh and clean. I had the picture-perfect view out of my room. Check-out, similar to Check-in, was great. The girl was cheerful and full of life.
Shortly after I realized that my card had been charged twice (once by Expedia and another by the hotel itself). I quickly called back and spoke with the girl who advised me there was a glitch and the full amount was authorized instead of just the incidentals – that it would fall off. Since I was visiting and didn’t really want to have double the funds held up I asked if she could have the second hold released. I was advised to call my bank to have them release it. I did and my bank told me that the merchant must do it. I started to lose a little faith; however, drove back to Aloft and gave them the info I received. The girl took the info and said she would call. Later that day I checked and SHE DID! Only one charge was pending versus two.
I’m all about great customer service and people of their word. This employee represented her company; therefore, I will definitely be a return customer in the future. Thank you!

This hotel is located one mile from the park entrance. It is hard to find since it sits off the main roadway and has a wall in front of it. It is also set up a little odd, with no access to the hotel lobby from two of the buildings. Room was clean and bed comfortable. In room refrigerator included. Conveniently located for park shuttle bus, dining, and entertainment.

It was the perfect distance to Grand Canyon National Park. We had a first floor room next to the pool room. It was kind of noisy. Also, the air conditioner made a loud knocking noise...Thank goodness we were so tired from our day in the park otherwise it would have been pretty difficult to sleep.
