Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The food and drink servers at the pool were very attentive, the bar tender at the Lounge not so much- don't remember her name. The guys that drive the golf carts around the resort were very nice and would point out that no extra tip is required since it is included in the daily resort fee. We preferred to walk most of the time instead of using the golf cart service, but I always felt like I was going to be run over since they zoom past you in the golf carts.

I'm honestly perplexed about the negative reviews. This place was wonderful! The room was sparkling clean and comfy. There is a refrigerator, you'll just need to remove their overpriced items first! :-) The Oasis was fantastic, very clean and lots of fun! My only complaint is the food/beverage prices and the bag checking at the entrance. Seriously, some people just can't afford your prices. Otherwise, it was great - we'll definitely be back!

The room was much nicer than the outside of the hotel indicates. Clean, updated, comfortable rooms. Shuttle to the Grand Canyon right next door at the visitor center. Elk were wandering around town which made for a nice photo op. Not a lot of good choices for eating but then you don't come to the Grand Canyon for the food.

"Attractive hotel with series ad amenities to match"
I have nothing negative to say about our stay. There is no elevator to the second floor rooms but stairs are easy. Ask for main floor room if you cannot climb stairs. The room was spacious and well furnished. Even the facial and toilet tissues were high quality. The hotel sits in a peaceful small forest. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Everything was clean and well thought out.

This was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was modern and clean, but I didn't love all of the red (floor to ceiling red curtains on two walls were a little creepy, IMO). That's personal preference, though. The shower was huge, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The balcony wasn't great, as it was small and kind of triangle shaped and didn't have any chairs. I think some of the nicer rooms have better balconies, though. Overall I would definitely stay here again, and maybe treat myself to the upgraded room next time.
