But you will pay for the view, in walking. It was a long walk to the parking lot for our car, and a long walk to the main building, (front desk and restaurant). They have shuttles, but they were very busy. Next time, I'll get a room closer to the parking lot. The staff was very nice. The room had a musty smell, but was very well appointed.

We decided to stay for one more night right after we walked into the resort. The staff was friendly, the room spacious, and the pools clean. The resort is close to everything and is in a nice neighborhood. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I stayed for a week - looking for main relaxation by the pool. Overall it was a typically great JW experience. A few specifics. 1) Staff was tremendous - everyone 2) Pool arrangement has lots of options - but the overall orientation to the pattern of the sun was a bit off (so sitting pool side you really had to plan the right lounge chair direction - not possible at some of the pools). 3) Good restaurant selection (Roys and Meritage were very good).

Lovely facility and we are staying again this month.
There were 2 downsides this past staycation-- room was not ready till way after 5 pm and Bar on Saturday night was way too slow--not enough bartenders as we waited 45 minutes for 3 drinks.

Nice enough hotel, probably similar to all in the town which seems to just be for tourists visiting the Grand Canyon.
We stayed two nights, the room was modern, comfortable and spotless. The reception staff were very friendly and the pool was relaxing if a little small.
Breakfast was extra and expensive so we gave it a miss and went to a great place a couple of minutes walk away, called something like RCs Stage Stop that did great breakfast butties with a range of different breads, and they were to eat in or to take out, also great for fresh sandwiches to take out for the day.
Sorry no where to recommend for dinner, both places we went to we felt we were overpaying, it's a captive market for GC visitors - but it's a great location so close to the park, and we spent the majority of the day up at the canyon. Maybe we should have got another take-out from RCs and watched the sunset at the canyon.
