This is a great place to stay if you're visiting the downtown Atlanta area. The view from the hotel rooms are great and the decor of the hotel really makes a statement. While they don't serve breakfast, there is a cute little cafe in the lobby. My only disappointment during my stay was the service. When using valet parking, it takes forever to get your car. Also, no one ever came to collect trash, or make beds. I also requested clean towels only to have no one bring them up.

The location was wonderful - so convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. It was so pleasant just to sit at their fountain on River Street and watch the world go by. It was also convenient having Tubby's and Huey's restaurants accessible from inside the hotel. Tubby's has the lightest pancakes I have ever eaten and also the largest. Huey's food was also very good. The wait staff at both restaurants were excellent. The hotel was clean and attractive. My only complaint was that I had to call for service the first day. Be sure to take advantage of their 5:30 complimentary happy hour. The bacon covered quail was quite good and the hot crab dip was delicious. The wine not so much but thought was good. My mattress was way too soft but my sister and her husband were satisfied with theirs.

We have almost no complaint about the hotel. Very nice, the room was very spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. However there was one complaint that made the stay not as perfect as it could have been: the service at the morning breakfast was deadly slow. The waitresses we had both days seemed lost or lazy, there were barely 5 tables occupied and 2 waitresses. it took about 45 min to get our food served, with us asking several times. I do not understand what the problem was, but next time we will go straight to the Starbuck at the corner if we go back to this hotel!

Located on one of the main squares of the city the Andaz provides easy access to the historic and tourist areas of Savannah. The staff eagerly worked to make my stay as comfortable as possible, provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and gave helpful suggestions on things to see and do. The breakfast buffet provided an excellent introduction to southern/Georgian cuisine which only added to my positive experience.
