Have always loved staying here for pleasure or business. It was not the hotels fault, but we were very disappointed that Bourbon St. was completely closed for several blocks due to Entergy digging up the road. Also we loved going out on the 2nd floor balcony (the only one) at night and seeing the night life on Bourbon, this time with a Shriners Convention going on they locked the door so no quest could go out on the balcony. They have had conventions before and never stopped the quest from going on the balcony.

Hotel was great especially the location of it, had no complaints but the only thing I wish they would include in their room set-up ( all Hyatt Place hotels) is a MICROWAVE!!!!! But besides that...... it was a wonder place to stay during vacation trip.

Staff was very friendly, we felt very welcome! Although busy from the Women's National Championships, the staff did what they could to accommodate all requests. Very responsibly priced drinks in the lobby bar!

I choose this hotel for the convenient location and great price. I was pleasantly surprised by the very large, modern and beautifully decorated room. The free breakfast and friendly staff were a complete bonus. I would expect to pay double the amount for this caliber of accommodations. I'm so happy I found this place close to my son's school and will definitely be a repeat customer.

The only problem was when we got back Saturday night we found the cleaning staff just leaving the room. I asked had she changed the towels? She said she didn't have more and would bring us some back in a few minutes. Well we didn't get clean towels until Sunday morning! The front desk clerk was very professional and apologetic and made sure we got clean towels as well passes for breakfast. Overall the hotel was absolutely great for the money!
