From the moment we arrived, we were treated wonderfully. The front desk person was very helpful and check in was a breeze. Chairs for the beach, and bikes were available to use for free. The room was clean and smelled really good. The pool was beautiful. And the location was perfect, right in front of the Wildwood sign. I really cant say enough about this place besides, we WILL go back again!

I loved staying there. Is nothing fancy but if you're looking for the perfect location close to the beach, convention center and board walk, then this is the hotel to booked in. Staff is great and rooms are clean. However the furniture and inside is old school. Overall, we liked it. Planing to go again.

"Solid room. Very close to the beach and boardwalk "
Solid room. No frills. Good price. Free parking. Walking to distance to the beach and boardwalk. If you are on a budget and want a decent stay while still being very close the beach this is a place to strongly consider.

I stayed in the newly renovated section of the hotel, and my room was absolutely perfect. I stayed an extra night only because I liked the room so much. My only complaint is the cigarette smoke smell that permeates every corner of the hotel. New Jersey is FAR behind other states that recognize that smoking does not belong in public spaces.

We've been to Bally's many times over the years, and it has always been excellent--no complaints, For some reason, the sweet, professional young woman (with the gorgeous smile) who checked us in upgraded us to a mini-suite. To say we were surprised is an understatement. We are two public high school teachers (with 64 years experience between us), and we never get to stay in rooms like that! We LOVED it! Everyone we spoke to in Bally's was friendly and took her/his job seriously, but two other people were also exceptionally pleasant--the woman who cleaned our room and the woman who was working the booth in the garage when we left on 8/16. I wish I knew their names, so I could identify them specifically. We have spent decades trying to instil a work ethic in our students, to teach them to take pride in doing a job well, to be pleasant and cooperative while they are also being responsible at work. So we commend the Bally's employees we met, and we thank them for a wonderful stay.

Great hotel . Only thing I would say bad is, when we walked in our room it had a minor smell of marijuana probably from the previous guest. Marijuana smelled diminished after a couple nights. However this is the best hotel on the boardwalk in my opinion. I've stayed here many times

"Classy, comfortable Inn in beautiful Spring Lake"
My Boyfriend and I stayed here 4 nights of Valentines weekend and loved it. The room had a fireplace, two balconies over looking the park/lake, a deep soaking tub (though NOT for two), and a very comfy bed. It was a great and romantic place to lounge and relax. Breakfast was continental style but very good, lemonade and iced tea with cookies every afternoon and tea and coffee 24 hours all in a pretty sunny room with fireplace. The Inn is older and shows some wear but is updated well enough, and we loved the charm of having actually keys for the door!
Spring Lake is a quaint and lovely town with dining options, shopping, and the beach! Take a drive around to appreciate the Victorian homes near the ocean. It can be sleepy in the off season but there is plenty to do in near by Brick, Belmar and Point Pleasant. All a short drive. We also liked the Spring Lake Tap House for updated yummy bar food, great service, and drink selection. Happy hour lasts 12-7 or if you'd like to stay in they deliver to the hotel (as well as serveral area pizza places). Also Cafe Artiste in town may seem like a risk but take it, let the owner/chef make whatever pasta he wants for you- you won't be sorry!
All in all a great little getaway just 1.5 hours from NYC!

The hotel was great as for location to the board walk! It is an older hotel. Not many up grades done. The room was very clean. The sheets nice clean and soft. The room was not as big as the photo portrays. The bathroom was very tiny. Bump your head on the vanity to go to the bathroom. Then in the morning we had ants.
