Stayed there cause it was semi close to the arena. Not much doing in downtown area. Riverfront was appealing but there wasn't much there except for the performing arts center. Room was fine, clean etc. An older hotel that they must have done some renovations.

the location is GREAT!!!!
The room itself was spacious. What I don't like is it is a comfort stay but nothing is in the room for the kitchen. Why have it if you are not going to let your customer use it. Also the fact that I had to go to the front desk to get a wash cloth because they only gave my husband & myself 1

Hotel was great! Rooms were clean and was surprised how clean the pool and hot tub was too! A couple of the younger front desk employees could work on there customer skills or just be a little friendlier. The lady who runs breakfast in the morning was great! She was always on top of keeping everything stocked for guests! Overall it's a great place. I'm a clean freak when it comes to hotels and this place did a great job on that so I would definitely come back!

Towers and massive tourist draws dominate Tampa’s waterfront. This area includes the convention center, cruise ship terminals, St. Pete Times Forum, The Florida Aquarium, and the Channelside Bay Plaza entertainment district. Across the palm-lined Hillsborough River, University of Tampa’s Moorish architecture sits in contrast of modern downtown. Nearby, historic Ybor City is Tampa’s Latin Quarter.
