The hotel itself is great - very nice, clean, good service. I think the guaranteed fallsview is exaggerated - yes I could see a partial falls view through the trees from 6th floor - but it wasnt what I thought I'd get for the price I paid - $1,800 Canadian for 3 nights. There is no unobstructed way to see the fall from the hotel (no guest only viewing area up top). While everything else was great, my splurge for the view was a fumble.

Hotel Staff Friendly and Helpful. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Room clean. Great entertainment for kids...fun little arcade...ticket system terrible...after hundreds of dollars you can't even get a stuffy...Magic quest...so much fun for the kids...good exercise for the adults...Water park a lot of fun, great rides...however...tampon floating in the wave pool...so gross....floors looking a little dingy/grimy ...spiky stairs on bare feet...many pluses some minuses...

This hotel is huge and consequently has an enormous amount of guests. The view and location of this hotel are probably the best there is to see the Falls and be within walking distance of food and entertainment venues. Our room (Fallsview Deluxe) was spectacular with a perfect view of both Falls. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room/bathroom spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful; however, for the size of this hotel there needs to be more check-in staff, concierge and tour staff. There were only 4 check in staff and one concierge and tour staff. The hotel is pricey and Canada imposes a 19% tax on everything. The buffet was fair but not worth the price. Secret Garden restaurant was a better breakfast choice and Hard Rock Cafe a better dinner choice. The only problem we encountered was that that the hotel's key machine was not working when we arrived and therefore we had to wait in the hotel the entire evening and wait in the very long check in line three times. After three tries with keys that didn't work, we were able to get in and out of our room at 9:30 at night. That wasted our entire first afternoon/evening there. We asked for and received a comp for the lost time but it was very annoying. There are also expensive parking fees and self parking is around the corner away from the hotel in a parking garage.

The room window was below ground level looking up to a pedestrian side walk. Had to keep the curtains closed at all times for privacy.
Many steps at front entrance after arriving and carrying luggage up these steps I discovered a lower parking level with access to an elevator.
Should be more soap/shower wash available.
Bed was too soft for my comfort.
There was no fridge in the room.
