Slow check-in, but the room was fine, clean and usable. No more or less than advertised. Furniture was old, desk a bit wobbly. Office chair at desk was the newest thing in the room. Nice TV, heater & plumbing all worked fine. Cordless phone handset was dead, had to use speakerphone or remote phone. Mattress/sheets/pillows fine but headboard was loose on the wall. Tons of high school kids in February. Not a problem, just surprised at how many. Not too noisy. Good value overall, I'd stay here again for a budget trip.

Subway access at hotel, terrific organic food very close, accomadating staff and room was quite sizeable for the price. Overall great experience and even impressed with the goat milk soap supplied in the bathroom.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hudson, the location was wonderful. The staff was very nice especially when we checked in, the check in guy asked us what view we'd like and he put us in the top floor with an awesome view. The hotel itself is very pretty. Feels kinda like a little cottage since it has a lot of greenery and wood. The room itself is pretty small (1 queen bed) but for 2 people that just go in to sleep its good. My sister and her family also stayed but in a 2 bedroom room and her room was wonderful, a lot more space. My only complaint of this Hotel that I really didn't like was the tub. It really needs some mayor remodeling, in both rooms it was the same looking tub.
