The staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions. The room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. Hated that they charged for wifi but just connected my iPad to my phone so I didn't have to pay. Location was fantastic...easy walk to Pike Market, Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Would definitely stay there again!

I was given a handicapped room. So, it was close to elevator, had a huge room with one bed and the bathroom was large with walk in shower that had a seat.
They offer free Starbucks coffee in your room, free tea and microwave popcorn.
They have underground parking for 18.00 a day.
They have a really cool rooftop space that has seating and heaters and an awesome view of Seattle. It rained most of the time we were there but the last day it started clearing around 3:00 and we went up to the roof and we're blown away. Nice place to have a drink and watch the sun go down.
There is a Starbucks located next door and a lot of restaurants. We ate at Agave Mexican just about a block from hotel. Really good and nice atmosphere.
My only real complaint about the room, is the lack of counter space in the bathroom. There is a ledge above the sink but there is a hook on the door if you have a hanging toiletries bag.
They provide soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion along with hair dryer.

The Montvale is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in downtown Spokane. For the price, it absolutely puts the Davenport properties to shame. The staff are terrific and the room I had, a king, was beautifully done with terrific, comfortable furniture. The common areas have been magnificently restored, there is a lovely fireplace. Good coffee and bath products as well! Within walking distance to everything downtown. Can't say enough good things!

really nice hotel except has on elevator and you have to walk thru 1-5 buildings to get to room. and heat was apparently still turned off from summer. set for 70-72 and it stayed about 65-68. fantastic restaurant and hotel staff. the fact it is right across from airport and right on I 90 makes this a must stay even with disappointments.
