Hotel is located only a couple of blocks from Old Town Albuquerque, making it an easy walk to numerous restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was as good as any Holiday Inn Express. Our room was freshly painted and had a new bamboo floor. The hotel is located on Route 66, which can be busy. We had very little "road" noise in our room. The only negative was the amount of noise that would get transferred between our room and the "double door" adjoining room. (I packed a towel under the crack and it significantly reduced it.)

I arrived near midnight. Staff told me to wait inside baggage claim until shuttle arrived & then called me. I needed to extend my stay waiting for mishandled luggage. I was given a reduced price for that day. Also, though I selected a single queen room, I was put in a room with 2 queen beds.

The price and location of this hotel makes it a good value for anyone spending days on the slopes and evenings exploring the many restaurants in town. We were extremely disappointed, however that although we had booked and paid in advance we were not able to get the King Bed room promised. Everyone blamed someone else. . . Not good customer service.

Rooms were large, clean, & comfortable. All of the employees at this place had a great attitude and treated us like they were sincerely glad we were there. Breakfast was the best. We have found our home away from home in Taos! Thanks El Pueblo!
