Hotel is located only a couple of blocks from Old Town Albuquerque, making it an easy walk to numerous restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was as good as any Holiday Inn Express. Our room was freshly painted and had a new bamboo floor. The hotel is located on Route 66, which can be busy. We had very little "road" noise in our room. The only negative was the amount of noise that would get transferred between our room and the "double door" adjoining room. (I packed a towel under the crack and it significantly reduced it.)

My flight landed a few hours before check-in time. I called to see if I could check in early so I wouldn't need to sit at the airport for 3 hours. Not only did they make sure that I could check in early, they arranged for a shuttle to pick me up at the airport.

Rooms were large, clean, & comfortable. All of the employees at this place had a great attitude and treated us like they were sincerely glad we were there. Breakfast was the best. We have found our home away from home in Taos! Thanks El Pueblo!
