"Nice hotel, a western feel with a friendly staff. "
This was a nice hotel.
Make sure to get the deluxe room for a larger room and amenities.
The room included a small refrigerator and microwave.
The shower was good and hot.
The breakfast is mostly cold items except for the waffle maker. Pastries, bagles, toast, hot cocoa, coffee, juice and milk.
The hotel is older but in good repair.
The exercise room is good and a nice pool.
We will stay here again.

The room was fantastic, the view was amazing, right on the hiking paths with tons to do all around you. A quick drive you takes you anywhere you could want to be. I honestly wish I just stayed here our entire stay, right in the heart of the Tetons. Expect to pay more, it's a ski village. Eerything costs a bit more, but there are TONS of cheaper places to eat in the towns nearby if you don't want to pay $30 for a salad.

Better than usual breakfast. Very good room cleaning. Most importantly, we could walk to lifts, tram, gondola easily every morning. Multiple dining options available within easy walking distance. Not fancy, but pretty great for an affordable ski trip.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, told us everything we needed to know about the hotel, wifi and various other amenities.
The room was great, the decor had a Country/Cowboy theme. It was a pleasant change from the usual hotel rooms (I travel quite a bit on business).
Room service was great, it was so nice coming back to the room after a long day in Yellowstone and everything was fresh and clean.
The free wifi was a big plus from us, my wife didn't have any issues with it but for some reason my phone did for the first day or so. It was fine after that though (??) - the only annoying thing was we had to renew the IP lease everyday as they dump their IP pool after 24 hours.

We arrived a few days before Christmas to meet up with family who were flying into Cody, and we all had a great stay here.
We played board games in a more secluded lounge area in the lobby while enjoying freshly baked cookies, courtesy of very friendly and helpful hotel hosts. The ambiance was terrific with the fireplace aglow, player piano mellowing the mood with Christmas selections, and rustic but modern decor (where did they find quail feather doilies?!).
For breakfast there was an ample selection, including--with so few guests at this time of year--eggs made to order. My husband enjoyed the treadmill: great quality for a hotel treadmill, he said.
We appreciated the comfy beds, especially after not sleeping well while traveling. The only negative, which is common for hotel room heat, was that there we found no setting to keep the fan on continuously low and quiet, while maintaining the desired amount of warmth.
Still, the warm cookies and hospitality to canine companions makes up for that and gives this hotel 5 out of 5 stars. Absolutely great here at The Cody!!!
