We went to the Red Jacket for a mini summer get away. We chose the Red Jacket because of it's indoor water park. Tip- make sure your water park tickets are included in the room price.
The indoor water park was nice for our little ones, however was a little cold.
We all enjoyed the outdoor pool much more.
The only complaint I have is the hotel really needs to update there beds. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and we were unable to get a good night sleep.

Few hotels anywhere in the world could surpass the Washington Resort experience. And it's surrounded by lush, dense New England White Mountains. The hotel staff were exceedingly courteous and helpful. My only suggestion would be a small breakfast nook area when once doesn't wish to enjoy a first class buffet.
Also, the band was a little loud for a our dinner. Maybe that was an exception.

My family and I only stayed one night, just passing thru. The hotel was ok. It needs some updates and looks like it has gotten some. The bathroom looked redone, although the carpeting throughout and hallways were subpar, and you can see the age in the hotel. The pool and hot tub were closed. I chose this hotel specifically for price and the pool (3 boys). Although the price was ok, the desk clerk notified us that they've notified Expedia many times to make sure the pool notice was posted, but Expedia kept taking it down. In any event, overall the stay was ok. Linens were clean, AC worked, bathroom was updated.

Paid good money for the best room but was disappointed. It was much smaller than I expected and was a little worn here and there. The staff was excellent and the room was comfortable. The breakfast that came as a perk with the room was very limited and not on par with other hotels.

At check-in only one learns there is a daily parking fee of $12. Access to parking is not near entrance because of construction. In the room, there's a sleep-number controller on each double bed. Instructions are minimal and we soon realize all that is happening is inflation and deflation of a glorified air mattress. Breakfast is $14/person. I could have saved $50 bucks at a nearby motel and gotten free breakfast, so lesson learned.
