I've stayed before but never longer than one night. I do plan to do so eventually when needing a hotel for more than one night. The hotel is timeless and the staff are amazing. Great location and close to all downtown events.

The hotel is very historic but needs some investment by Hilton. The parking situation, though the valet works well, is a problem. The street is very crowded with another hotel across the street, and there is no way to pull in. We parked going the opposite direction. The rooms are a bit dated (the bath tub is less than inviting), and the lobby a bit dark. Nonetheless, the hotel is centrally located, the staff quite helpful, and it is close to many interesting features.

Our room was newly renovated so it was very adequate. The overall facilities are in a state of construction. Lots of workers and restricted areas. Indoor pool was open and nicely heated. Breakfast buffett was a joke but a Waffle House is next door. Plenty of parking!! Poor wifi.

We were so impressed when we first pulled up to the hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a full day in the August heat. Parking was easy and we really liked the location of the hotel. We did not dine at the hotel, but the restaurant looked great!

Check in was quick. We were located on the second floor above the bar area. It was a little noisy at night. The hotel is a beautiful old hotel - I would encourage all of you to be more proud of it and keep it up better. The stairs going up to the second floor were never swept. Ledge outside the bedroom window was dirty and not clean. It may sound like little things but keeping up with those really shows your attention to detail and pride in your establishment. I would recommend having turn down service just part of the stay and not asking your guests to request it. Same for daily room cleaning - shouldn't have to call. Your door men/valet staff should be friendlier - say hi and open doors for guests.

Disappointed there is no free parking, need a store within hotel for small sundries etc. we were told and it was written down 12th floor. When our access didn't work , staff said it was 7 floor - no apology. Front desk staff ( one man) was unorganized. Room was very nice but bathrooms will need updated soon. Could not understand the young man who worked in small cafe- very helpful though. We went to the restaraunt late and the hostess yelled from across the room, "do you want dinner, come on in" . The staff were was too casual for me - all in jeans. Expected more from a Hyatt Regency . I will stay again but with lowered expectations.
