The Brown Hotel has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, which they've preserved and maintained beautifully. The ornate detailing throughout the first flower, lobby and mezzanine are a testament to their pride in the hotel. The room was also beautifully decorated and comfortable. My only complaint is that it was a bit musty in the room, and my husband and I had to keep the AC on all day/night to help control the smell. We totally understand that it's an older hotel, but were disappointed by this aspect. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

This hotel is priced good and had a good central location for my needs. The room was nice and clean but the bathroom sink was located outside of the actual bathroom and it was just a sink and mirror it was fine for me but if my wife was with me on this stay there wasn't anywhere to set her "getting ready" items. Like tooth paste hair dryer etc.

We live in Lexington, but like to sometimes stay downtown for a night just to take in local activities. The Hyatt is in a great location, has a fun bar and is located in a mall facility with shops etc.

The staff was friendly and gave us suggestions on what to do since our previous in town plans had been cancelled. The room was spacious, clean, and the decor was nice. We had a great view of fountain square from our room and were in walking distance to museums, restaurants and other activities. It was a very nice stay and we had a peaceful sleep.
