Nice facilities, welcoming staff. Well appointed rooms, great waterfall pool area, and a huge workout room. Plenty of seating areas for visiting with fellow Travellers all over the facilities. Fireplace in the room was an added bonus.

Shout out to Kim who helped me with my ski binding adaptor repair and the staff who handled my extra packages arriving. Especially Ana and Debbie for forwarding the ones that arrived too late to meet me.
Big meals in the restaurant. Real hollandaise sauce on the Bennies.
Great all around.

Even though the pool is a little small and deep for little kids, it is still nice to play in. Rooms are very comfy and it's connected to a mall, walking distance to nice ice cream place, sushi, thai restaurant...Their breakfast is PHENOMENAL!!! freshly made omelets, eggs of your choice, waffle machine...etc very nice and energetic staff to brighten your day at your first meal. Will definitely go back.

The hotel overall was fantastic, rooms were clean and the pool/sauna were a nice addition.
Our first night there the hotel clerk was very helpful, assisting us with recommendations etc. The next morning one of the hotel workers chewed out the reception person in a rather unfavorable fashion... very unprofessional.
The sink in the renovated King room was poorly thought out as it's incredibly difficult to wash your hands without spilling water everywhere.
The hotel has a perfectly rustic feel with taxidermy bears, wolf, moose, bison, etc throughout. They have games in the hotel lobby available to play and everything you'll need within walking distance (all the best restaurants and a grocery store across the street).
Went late Feb, with our two adult kids. We upgraded our room to one with one king and two queens which was great for us. Rooms are pricier here but we opted comfort over price - happy with our decision. Can park snowmobiles in back parking lot. Close to shopping and other restaurants though we had car to get around - highly recommended in winter.

Room was generally as advertised, however it had the following faults that really detracted from the overall experience.
1) The light bulbs were no more than 40 watts. With the lights on, I couldn't see into my suitcase. It was too dim to read by. I actually went to the hardware store and bought bulbs.
2) The second bedroom only had sheer curtains so when you actually wanted it dark it was too light to sleep.
3) The living room TV did not work.
4) The bedroom pillows were awful.
5) The bath towels were small and really worn out.
The above problems could all be fixed in about 15 minutes with an investment of about $50, which made it all the more annoying that management has never saw fit to make them.
