The Hotel is wonderful and has beautiful grounds, the staff is very friendly and a tentative. However I am very unhappy that the elevator in our building was down for our entire stay, we where not offered to be shown how to find the parking area closes to our building or the entrance so after walking the beautiful grounds for 23 minutes we found the way in. The next day (this trip was only my son and I, we don't golf) we thought it would be a nice idea to ask to take a golf cart around and view the grounds only to find we where not allowed to.
Disappointed at the end of my stay there was a Resort Fee charge! really! No elevator, No explanation or help on finding parking, Not allowed to view or use a cart to view the grounds because we don't golf.

The neighborhood isn't the nicest so I was a little unsure of how nice the hotel would be and wow was I amazed. Upgrades everywhere...the entrance, the lobby, the rooms, the bathrooms, and the best part...extremely affordable. There are dozens of other hotels in the area and they look so run down and in desperate need of a makeover....not this Best Western!

Comfortable and clean enough for the wary traveler. The location is also very convenient and the shuttle to the airport a plus.
I booked this hotel for my young nephew who was in transit through Miami. Check in staff insisted on 100 USD deposit. My nephew could only pay USD 80 as he had no credit card. Getting it back the following morning was a nightmare though. Took too long as there was no communication to the morning staff regarding this payment or no clear idea about a refund policy. Only after heated discussion was he paid back. He ended up missing the complimentary hotel shuttle to the airport, had to get his own taxi at his own cost (no offer to assist with this) and almost missed his flight. Not a good way to treat travelers. Communication could certainly be improved.

Once a haven for pirates, today Coconut Grove is one of South Florida's most prestigious neighborhoods. Sitting between Miami and Biscayne Bay, this pedestrian-friendly area features plenty of outdoor cafes, boutiques, and a vibrant nightlife. The tour de force of any stay may just be an afternoon spent at Vizcaya's Museum with its European-inspired gardens overlooking Biscayne Bay.
