We love the Adolphus. it has a lot of charm and is conveniently located in downtown Dallas. I would have rated it a 5 except for the Rodeo Bar & Grill. The Rodeo is their only bar and restaurant while they are undergoing renovations. We had a concert to go to and stopped in there to get a drink before. They had no waitress on staff that I could see, and the bartender left his back turned to me as I stood at the bar for what seemed an eternity. He finally got around to asking me for my order. We decided to stop by the bar following the concert and have another drink prior to returning to our room. We sat there for at least 10 minutes and didn't see any wait staff OR bartender. We finally decided to leave. The hotel should really do something about this.as it tarnishes their reputation.

Great stay with the exception of the television issues. We had very few channels in our room. We were given a $25.00 voucher at check-in, which was not enough for the inconvenience. We were also given unlimited access to movies. However, all of the movies were very old and many had never been at the box office. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent and the 24 hour café was a nice touch.
