If you're not on a tight budget, by all means this is the place to stay. Very nice, historic, centralized, and pleasant hotel. Although going through some construction during our visit, we took advantage of the town car services offered, bellman suggested a delicious nearby breakfast cafe and sent for a car to take us too and from. Great staff, beautiful rooms. My only complaint would be the valet/parking fees and process - but these are to be expected at any place throughout the downtown area. Overall - great experience.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel for a couple of reasons: Centrally located, Nobu!!!, the staff is excellent, great service. The biggest disappointment is the hotel rooms. Very dated from the 80's. All the rooms need to be redone and newly appointed. I was booked in one room with no walk in shower but a tub and shower curtain, which I hate. I was switched to another room with a walk in shower, but then needed to pay for a roll out bed. I almost switched hotels due to the out of date room. The lobby is gorgeous. The staff was great, the breakfast delicious and of course Nobu is amazing.

Check-in was quick and painless, after calling the concierge earlier in the day informing them of my husbands Birthday we were meet with a sweet set-up. Cake flowers and champagne. As always the Omni does not disappoint. We had a great view, quiet room and the staff was extremely professional and accommodating.

Overall my experience at the Best Western in Corpus Christi, Texas was good. The room was comfortable, the hotel staff was nice (the fact that there were Spanish speaking employees was a bonus for me), the rate was affordable, and I enjoyed the WiFi very much!
However, I was upset with having to call the front desk to ask for my room to be cleaned since it was overlooked by the maids while they were out cleaning the rooms which led to me and my family to spend some time at the lobby (our room could have been cleaned while my family and I were out sightseeing). Plus, I was a bit grossed out with the stains I found on the window curtains as I was heading out into the balcony. It would be nice if they would wash or replace them if necessary.
