I have stayed here a few times...I always fear the check in lines lol however it was quick and check out was even easier. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The food choices of where to eat were also great and convenient, the buffet was good and the food court

This was my first time at Hardman House. Very nice staff and very clean rooms. Practical. Hardman House isn't as "new" as it once was, but it is located within a block of the best breakfast resturaunt you could ask for (Heidi's), a block and a half from the nugget casino. a short drive to Capitol area night life (not even a mile). They offer a free deluxe breakfast 6-9am for free but was never up in time to try it ! But that adds to the affordability and value of staying here. If your picky about frills-stay at the Gold Dust or elsewhere, but I spend most of my time in Virginia City and Carson and at night at Carson Station (wyndam) to spend time with the locals, so a room is for sleeping and showers, and these are good size so comfortable.
And if you dont know, you are a half hour from Tahoe, Reno or 20 minutes to Virginia City and Gold Hill.
And Carson City Nevada is one of the most nicest places you will visit, and the people are the friendliest. So I've stayd at Carson Station, The Gold Dust and a couple other places in Carson over the last 30+ years I have visited Virginia City, and would add Hardman House to the list of good viable places to stay in Carson City Nevada with above comments in mind.

"Loved it and we're already planning on going back!"
Friends met here from different parts of the U.S. We had about 5 rooms. We all thought it was great and when the stay was over we said we were all coming back to do it again. Perfectly located for a quick walk to Stateline along with down to the beach, and the shops up the street.
