Good for one night stays maybe not longer. I stayed 3 days. Rooms are very small. The first night the A/C broke in my room. It was like a sauna, I woke up sweating in the middle of the night; however, the staff was very friendly and gave me a different room in a matter of minutes. There is self parking but it costs $20 per day, valet is just $25 for the length of your stay (recommend it) overall, its good for a good price. If you're alone on business this is a great choice.

Stayed in junior suite which was very nice. Would not have normally chosen this hotel if not for the Expedia deal. Normally stay at Ritz or Marriott hotels but will definitely consider Four Seasons when traveling.

Great service when you walk in and wonderful bar with complementary wine at happy hour for guest only.
Rooms are excellent with best beds and sheets ever that we have experienced at any hotel.
Close to restaurants with hotel shuttle to and from, great for our 35th anniversary/valentines.

Hilton Americas is a great hotel with all the amenities anyone could want. Definitely more of a business crowd here. Well run, professional service, large comfortable rooms. The social areas are nice maybe even elegant but for my taste lacks any distinct character.

Started out bad by them giving our room away and putting us on the inside with a view of the lobby and 2 double beds. It was Valentine's Day and we needed one bed. Went to dinner, came back and we were able to switch due to cancellations, better but still on the inside. The whole point in staying downtown was to get a city view. I loved my stay and loved the staff but if I get put into another room without a view, I'm turning around.

Banking and oil giants lend their name to downtown Houston’s skyscrapers. Key attractions here include the Theater District, the Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, and Downtown Aquarium. With more than 40 institutions, the Texas Medical Center occupies the area south of downtown. Also south of downtown are the Houston Zoo, Reliant Stadium, and the Astrodome.
