From the time I arrived at valet until I checked out, I was treated like a celebrity by the staff. They were knowledgeable about the night clubs and restaurants in Houston. Room service was fast and very accommodating. The food was incredible, unlike many of my other room service orders from other hotels. When I stay in Houston in the future, I will only stay at the Four Seasons. In my opinion, it's the only true five star hotel in Houston.

"Elegantly restored historic hotel in great locatio"
Good: Beautiful hotel in historic Houston bank. Walking distance to ballpark & light rail. Quiet, spacious with comfortable beds & excellent shower.
Not as good: Pricey valet ($33/nt), paint fumes from renovations prompted me to complain & front desk immediately offered to move me.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. No complaints. It is located near the convention center and the Toyota center. It is about seven blocks from public transportation to the museum district. ( It would be helpful if the city posted signs along the sidewalks indicating the direction and distance to "common" public transportation stops.

Great stay with the exception of the television issues. We had very few channels in our room. We were given a $25.00 voucher at check-in, which was not enough for the inconvenience. We were also given unlimited access to movies. However, all of the movies were very old and many had never been at the box office. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent and the 24 hour café was a nice touch.

Banking and oil giants lend their name to downtown Houston’s skyscrapers. Key attractions here include the Theater District, the Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, and Downtown Aquarium. With more than 40 institutions, the Texas Medical Center occupies the area south of downtown. Also south of downtown are the Houston Zoo, Reliant Stadium, and the Astrodome.
