"Nice upscale hotel with an awesome pool/spa"
Very gorgeous hotel- breathtaking in some ways. Beautiful furniture, decorations and staff is pretty friendly. The only thing that wasn't cool was that there is no other parking than 35$ per night valet parking. There is an awesome play room with billiards/chess and also the pool/spa is fantastic. Nice view as well. Drinks quality could be better for the price served. Highly recommend to get a weekend away

"Very Close to UT campus"
My husband and I traveled to Austin to see a concert at Bass Hall, located on the UT Campus. The area around the hotel doesn't have many restaurant choices (that aren't chain restaurants), and we wanted a fresh "Austin" experience. You don't need to leave the hotel to find tasty, fresh food that is unique! We decided to try a snack at the hotel restaurant - Goodall's Kitchen - before the concert, and we were pleasantly surprised! And, we even ate breakfast there the next morning because we liked it so much! Plus, we took an Uber ride to and from the concert - very quick and convenient! And, didn't have to worry about parking. We think the hotel has a car service, although we didn't realize it until after we had contacted our ride....

"Excellent Hotel, Staff & Location"
The staff, hotel design and amenities are all excellent. We have never experienced staff in an Hotel who all offer fantastic service, support and local knowledge. A beautiful layout and design, excellent food and the beds and rooms are so very comfortable. If all Westin Hotels offer this service then we will sign up as a regular guest for sure. Easy access to the central city area. Highly recommended

    Explore Austin

Cool, funky and fun: for a state capital, Austin is anything but staid. Famed as the “Live Music Capital of the World,” the city’s motto has long been “Keep Austin Weird.” Here you’ll find eclectic restaurants, clubbing districts, natural attractions and…oh yeah, a museum or two. Any night of the week you can hear live music at more than 100 local clubs. Sixth Street is known for a college crowd and hard-pounding bars, River Street hosts heavier metal and laid-back South Congress (SoCo) exudes a quirky, alternative vibe. The city fills with music industry folk and fans during March’s South by Southwest, the world’s largest music festival.

Everyone sleeps late, right? Nope – they’re up jogging or kayaking along Lady Bird Lake and swimming at Barton Springs – you can too. At sunset, a million bats provide a spectacle leaving their roost under the Congress Avenue Bridge. Museum lovers will appreciate the high-tech Bob Bullock State History Museum, the State Capitol and UT’s museums. Don’t miss the Hellcats at the roller derby.
