The location is fantastic-close to Sundance Square, across the street from the Convention Center and Water Gardens. The hotel is in great condition but the rooms are small and the AC had a little trouble keeping up with the Texas heat in late July.

It was a nice hotel. It is well situated and the staff was really nice. My only beef is that our room was awkwardly laid out and when someone showered in an adjacent room it sounded as if a jet engine took off in our room. When we had the hide-a-bed pulled out - you had to climb over it (like walk or climb on it) to get to the bathroom. Made it an unpleasant night for our kiddo whenever we had to go to the bathroom.

Best thing about the property is its location--just across the street from the Ft Worth Convention Center. When I got to my room I noticed several things missing, such as a phone, alarm clock, ice bucket, glasses. The desk gave me a clock, ice bucket and glasses, but told me no room had a phone. Next morning I could not turn off the hot water in the shower. Tried to call on my cell phone and got no answer...went back in bathroom and wrestled the plumbing until I was successful. The housekeeper dropped off a box of tissues which I had forgotten to ask for at the desk.
This is definitely a budget property, so do not expect anything fancy. My king size bed had a much smaller top sheet-I rearranged it to make it work-and the pillows were not the greatest. However, I was told the property has been sold and removations will begin soon. So I suspect most of this information will be irrelevant in the future.
The second best feature of the property is the price, which I expect to change with the change in ownership.

From valet to check-in to stewards to room service, everyone here went above and beyond. We had a specific need that we did not want to have to get out and go to the store for and one of the star bell hops opened the gift shop for us after hours. Room service was reasonable and delicious. Beds were amazing. Views were awesome. The location was spot on for all downtown adventures. You can't go wrong with this one. Just remember full service hotel means nothing is free but the service is top notch and you should tip for it. Don't expect fridges, microwaves or continental breakfast. But, do expect to be treated special. The walls were a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors conversations pretty clearly through the bathroom vents. Street noises traveled up to the 5th floor but nothing too disturbing. Slumber came easily and was uninterrupted. You will be steps away from everything fun. Overall great choice in the pricey range.

We stayed here as it's located less than 1 mile from the Cook Children's hospital. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was great. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. My only complaint would be parking. The parking slots are small and you have to pay to park, even as a guest of the hotel. Other than that, our stay was excellent. We plan on staying here every time we go to Cook Children's.

Pocket Guide: Fort Worth Downtown Fort Worth Hotels
Sundance Square is downtown Fort Worth’s signature destination. Here, visitors can shop, dine, and sleep in historic buildings in a 14-block area. One of the city’s gems, though, opened only in 2001. Despite its age, the Bass Performance Hall was built to match its old-time surroundings. Two 48-foot angels guard the main entrance. The Fort Worth Convention Center lies at the foot of Main Street.
