The Stockyards Hotel lived up to our expectations for a unique, historic place to stay while in Fort Worth. Our accommodations were in "Cowboy Corner" room, very spacious and nicely furnished with pieces reminiscent of the hotel's establishment in 1907. The king size bed was very comfortable with ample pillows. We really appreciated the ceiling fan - first time we've ever been in a hotel room equipped with one! Another nice perk was the Keurig coffee maker and flavorful coffee. The staff members were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Stockyards attractions are in easy walking distance of this establishment. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Let me start by saying that we are from Hawaii and there are no(zero, zilch, nada) inexpensive hotels where we live. We were in Fort Worth for graduation at TCU with a large family and I booked three rooms with different dates, weird check in times etc. Then, to add to the fun, I had a credit card fraud issue two days before we left home with the card I had used to book the rooms. Called the hotel and they were unbelievably understanding and helpful, assured me that my res was good and that I could use any card at check in. Have to admit that my first impression was doubtful. Hotel has a great photographer because on the website it appears to be set back far from the road which was not the case. Between a church and a gun store, how Texas! Check in and breakfast area were kind of small, again doubts. Room was very clean, had an iron and board, and the bathroom seemed new, very clean and great water pressure in the shower(an underrated item). Also BEST WIFI SPEED OF ANY HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Over all, an exceptional value for the price and I feel fortunate to have found it.

We stayed here for one night and thought it was great value for money. If you're a lite sleeper the noise of the traffic may be an issue being so close to the highway. The breakfast selection also was much better than some of the more expensive places we've stayed at!

Pocket Guide: Fort Worth Downtown Fort Worth Hotels
Sundance Square is downtown Fort Worth’s signature destination. Here, visitors can shop, dine, and sleep in historic buildings in a 14-block area. One of the city’s gems, though, opened only in 2001. Despite its age, the Bass Performance Hall was built to match its old-time surroundings. Two 48-foot angels guard the main entrance. The Fort Worth Convention Center lies at the foot of Main Street.
