I was excited to stay at Nylo S Dallas. The fun, eclectic design was appealing. The infinity pool was appealing. Having a "loft-style" room was appealing. The location was appealing. BUT...it is definitely a party hotel.
After driving 12+ hours to Dallas, we were looking forward to taking a dip in the beautiful pool. When we got there, check in was easy & efficient. What we didn't realize was that the pool area turned into a lounge/dance bar late at night. We weren't going to swim with many individuals there that were clearly not there to swim.
The room was definitely spacious. It was cool with the exposed brick & duct work. The bed was comfy. The shower was spacious & had great water pressure. BUT the shower could use some bleach scrubbing.
After the pool closed at 2am, the party goers made their presence known by being loud & proud. They were slamming doors, talking & laughing loudly, not cautious with their words. The staff did come to quiet them. So that isn't a "hotel" problem. I'm stating this to let you know that I would not bring my kids to this hotel as I don't feel it's kid friendly.
So...if you like to party, this is your place to stay.

Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff and the basic hotel facilities are very good. It has one restaurant/lounge and a limited but very nice room service selection. It does not have a pool or hot tub facility but if you are not needing those things you should have a great stay and it is ideally located downtown with lots of dining and entertainment within very easy walking distance

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. They made us feel like VIP guests even though we were only there for a one night stay. The incredible works of art inside and out were such an added pleasure to our stay! Not to mention the unforgettable pool!

Nice hotel. The room was small but clean. The location is really unbeatable if you're looking to go to the JFK museum or other landmarks on the West End, it literally overlooks Dealey Plaza. Breakfast was quite good. My only complaints are a funky smell in the lobby that was off-putting and sometimes an extremely long wait for the valet, which is unacceptable when it's a steep $25 a day.

Like everything in Texas, downtown Dallas is big. Fortunately, downtown’s zones make it easy to explore. The city’s art museum, symphony, and Dallas World Aquarium reside in the Arts District. West End’s Elm Street marks the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. The Sixth Floor Museum chronicles this dark day. Deep Ellum, east of downtown, is Dallas’ main nightlife hub.
