Stayed at Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island from August 14–17, 2025. Room had no hot water for three days and a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. Engineering was promised but never arrived. The building was evacuated the night before departure due to a reported threat.

Love the fun vibes especially with the DJ on Saturday. Overall, the hotel was clean and the AC in the rooms were awesome. Drinks were delicious but don’t drink the water. The tap water smelled and tasted horrible! Bring your own water to drink.

As soon as we walked the Valley were very friendly and courteous but the front desk clerks no good morning no good afternoon very bad customer service on the second day of being there my husband got a very bad rash on legs and back from the pool had lots lots of chlorine no security walking around kids throwing balls in the water playing football reported no one ever came reported my husband incident about rash supposedly Manager would call us never did the sinks faucets were dirty with lime not cleaning them right and the cabanas outside are filthy dirty all cushions are stained was very disappointed too see this I have heard from other friends that the Margaritaville resorts are one of the best this one was not and another thing the restaurant Landshark there filters in ceiling super dirty I don’t know if it’s mold or just dust but did not look good !!

STAY HERE

Stay here!! Right on the beach, easy access through the water park and had showers at the entry. So much fun. The beach was SO clean & the service was incredible and so was the resort. We took 4 little ones 5 & under.

Good service just at check in the person at the front desk was a bit rude when asked something about the stay, however everyone else around the hotel the staff was very polite. The other problem we were without water for a while in the morning at checkout so it was a bit rushed to get out on time.
