I honestly don't think I could ever rave about this hotel enough. First of all, I was messed around a little bit with my flights and ended off not arriving in San Antonio until after midnight (which is the time your room is held until until you are considered a no show), I called up from fort worth and told them about the dilemma and they assured me my room would still be there when I arrived, he checked me in online efficiently which took off a level of my stress. Secondly, I arrived there around 1 in the morning / half one, and the two women at the counter were nothing but helpful. At that time there was no doorman to assist with my luggage but even one of the women offered to help me. Aside from that, they told me they would be charging my card roughly 200 over what my statement said but explained to me exactly what the $200 addition was for and that the funds would be released to me after my stay had ended, they were very patient with me and my frazzled self so I must say, Impeccable service. Then I got to my room and after 29 hours of traveling it was amazing and exactly what I had imagined it being. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the service throughout my entire stay was nothing but pleasant. Every time my partner and i walked downstairs in the morning we got greeted with a smile and everyone was so friendly. I honestly could never recommend this hotel enough. And you get more than what you pay for, absolutely incredible. :)

The hotel was right on the river walk but it was not on the busy part which for me was perfect it was much quieter sitting on the terrace. It was a very short walk on the river to get to the busier part. Hotel was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly.

I was able to check in 10 minutes early. We didn't have to wait to be helped. Our room was very clean just like the lobby and breakfast area. Rooms are very spacious and beds are very comfortable. Pool is not big but it was just right since the hotel wasn't over crowded. Breakfast was pretty good, lady in charged was very polite and doing a very good job. Can't complain about anything!

Pocket Guide: San Antonio Downtown San Antonio Hotels
The languid San Antonio River and its famed River Walk connect many downtown attractions, including the Alamo Plaza and HemisFair Park. Built for the 1968 World’s Fair, HemisFair Park is the site of the 750-foot Tower of the Americas. Visitors, though, won’t forget the Alamo, site of the legendary 1836 battle between Mexican soldiers and Texan secessionists. Nearby, Mexican goods fill El Mercado.
