Well, you get a nice $65 daily resort fee and you can't even enjoy the pools. Close at 7pm and during the day are so full of people there is no enjoyment. It is crazy. We used the open til 10 pool and it was very crowded and so many kids... don't get me wrong I love kids but at some point it would be nice to have an "adults time" at the pool. You pay this $65 resort fee for what I do not know as they charge for EVERYTHING I was surprised there wasn't a breathing charge. I am not by any means cheap and on vacay I like to get the perks but the suite upgrade is $150 a fricking day, I was under the impression from the front desk it was a one time fee for the stay and what I got for the $300 breakfast once a pupu reception where you get a drink in maybe and the food was always almost empty. It was not a great stay and honestly when contacted and requested that I downgrade I was told too bad you signed at check in... which I didn't read because I was trying move it along as we already waited a half hour to check in and the line was super long. Really poorly explained but had not one little issue charging the card... also as a Prestige guest you get nothing more than a continental breakfast which honestly resembled a few I've had at Holiday Inn Express but you get it for the low low price of $150 a day. OH my gosh and you get two pillows per person no additional blankets in the room so if you are sitting on the couch you can use a towel to cover up. they are scratchy too.
