"A LITTLE ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE"
I really loved the location but it seemed like everything cost something, very little included in the price. Had to pay to use the hotel computer to print out my boarding pass which cost like 8 bucks for 10 minutes. I think for the price it should include a continental breakfast which it does not. I liked the view and the staff were very nice but I had a bad wifi in my room which had to be replaced and it still had to jump through a few hoops to get it to work. Nice but could be much better for the price.

"Beautiful hotel with amazing pools & staff."
This was our first time staying at this hotel. We've stayed at other hotels located in town on the beach before, and we won't ever do that again. This hotel was about an $8 cab/uber ride to get you to the Moana Surfrider area. You can also easily walk into town along the beach & boardwalk. The main pool is beautiful and CLEAN! Other hotels have tiny dirty pools. It was never too crowded to get a nice lounge chair and they don't require reservations or a fee (the lounge chairs are more like day beds, super comfortable). The staff serving the pool was always quick & attentive which was a major bonus, you wouldn't want to leave the pool! There is also a 6 inch deep adult pool on an upper deck, which we never used b/c the main pool was always so nice, even w/ kids playing it was never a bother. Food & drinks to order are pricey, but that's expected. The rooms are all new & super cute decor. We paid $50 a night to upgrade to a partial view, we were on the side facing the harbor, but I would recommend asking to be on the side facing the pool (that may have been the $100 or $150 dollar a night upgrade however). The hotel also has Morimoto's restaurant located by the pool, definitely try it! There is a cute little bar w/ music the bookcase during the day), it always had live music and the bartenders were always nice. Basically this is a great hotel if you want to be close to town, but want to avoid the dirty overcrowded "popular" hotels right on the beach.

"Great location on Waikki beach "
Location is great if you want to be right on Waikki beach. Good food options at hotel and surrounding area. Room was old; slight smell of old carpet. Bath tub was half the size of a normal bathtub?? Due to being in a room above the Jazz lounge I didn't sleep for 2 days due to the loud music playing.

"Great location on beach and close to everything. "
Highly recommend this resort. Open air lobby from street to beach, creates fantastic breeze and provides a great tropical vibe. Central location of pool and entertainment adds to relaxing vibe. We booked a one bedroom suite with city view on 10th floor. Fun to see view of city and people watch from our balcony - did not miss the view of the water. Room was nice, beds very comfortable, had all needed amenities including refrig, microwave, dining area, nice tub, granite. Service was impeccable, we stayed for 7 nights and valet service was quick when we needed our car. Starbucks in the lobby was a nice feature, plenty of shops in resort and nearby.

"Convenient to convention center. "
I stayed at this hotel for two reasons. One was I've stayed at Outrigger resorts before and had a wonderful experience. I thought this would be the same. I was wrong. The second reason was that it was very close to the convention center. That was true. The hotel is conveinently located to shopping and the convention center, but is very old and needs updating. The room wasn't cleaned very well daily and is small. Overall the hotel itself is average and not what I expected from an Outrigger affiliate. Hopefully there will be some renovations completed before my next trip to Hawaii.

"Historic hotel on beach, quiet and calm."
We enjoyed the peace and quiet and elegance of this beautiful hotel. The design of the building allows cool breezes through the lobbies. Staff are warm and responsive but not overbearing. Wonderful small salt water pool, great for adults. Kids have their own recreational pool with slides, etc. Hope to return.

Famous for white-sand Waikiki Beach, Hawaii’s tropical state capital is a laid-back place. The city is not too big, but not too small either – it’s just right for a weekend escape or short vacation. Spend sunny days at the beach, then sip sunset cocktails while ukuleles strum and hula dancers sway.

Whether you want to learn to surf on the North Shore, go snorkeling at aquamarine Hanauma Bay or hike to a spectacular jungle waterfall, the rest of the island of Oahu is an easy day trip from Honolulu or neighboring Waikiki Beach. Back in town, head to Honolulu’s historic Chinatown for inexpensive and creative eats day or night. It’s also bursting with art galleries, independent boutiques, bars and clubs.

Downtown Honolulu is where locals get things done – it’s Hawaii’s business, government and cultural hub. Visitors come to walk the royal halls of Iolani Palace, connect with ancient Hawaiian history and traditions at the venerable Bishop Museum, and take solemn boat tours of the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
