"Five-Star Anniversary Experience in West Waikiki"
In celebration of our 7th marriage anniversary, my wife and I spent two weeks exploring Maui, Kauai, and Honolulu. In Honolulu, we stayed at Waikiki Prince, which ended our trip on a five star note.
The room is clean, tasteful, and has many neat gadgets including automatic rollershades and a TOTO bidet. We stayed in a standard room with two queen-sized beds covered by silky bamboo sheets. The wallpaper has a romantic Japanese-style texture and print. There is a large flat screen TV, AC, and modern safe.
We particularly loved the renovated marble and tiled bathrooms. The shower and the toilet are enclosed behind two separate frosted glass doors. My wife was fond of the SimpleHuman makeup mirror.
What makes the Prince stand out the most is their professional, friendly staff. They were always available to provide first class service. They can be reached through phone, internet or in person and are always quick to respond. We received a personalized anniversary note and gift from the Prince management and the maid always leaves Hawaii themed chocolate after the turndown service.
The management at the Prince is professional and accommodating. We had a late night flight on our last day and they were able to accommodate extended hours for us in the room.
We opted to have access to the more exclusive poolside club lounge. The club is a quiet hidden gem where you can have beer on tap and watch the sunset. There, you can find a hot breakfast, appetizers, and hot entree for dinner

This is a wonderful little hotel to stay in. The room price was so affordable. After the airline lost my luggage, the manager stayed at the hotel until I arrived to get me settled in. Then the co manager helped me call the airline and get my luggage delivered the next day. You couldn't ask for better service than that. The rooms are clean and incredibly spacious. Large fridge, kitchen area, cable tv...lots of amenities. Highly recommend!

I had a very good experience at this hotel, it was clean, staff was awesome, good location.. ihop and coffee house next door where you get 10% off, 10% off at macys also. You get a free shuttle pass also.. beach is only a 10 min walk, very close to shops and other restraunts. Parking fee was ridiculous though ($25 a day) which is more than the daily resort fee ($18) .. and the parking garage is super freaking but you get used to it. Hotel didn't seem outdated to me like I read others thought.. we didn't bother going to the pool, looks very lame.. more for kids (only 4ft deep and very small). Overall I would come back here though

Great hotel with super friendly staff. Good location to use as a home base and if you plan on doing more than just beach.Includes breakfast to get you going in the morning. Clean rooms and common areas, very important for me.

We knew we were going to love staying at this hotel from the moment we pulled up. The energy and vibe are so great. The hotel is really nice and the amenities are excellent! There are live musicians by the pool daily, there are plenty of shops on site, the location is amazing, there is a complementary trolley for exclusive use of guests of this hotel, Enterprise rent-a-car is right on site, I mean, the list just goes on and on. They even give you two pool towels per guest per day. I also love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby - huge plus for me. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is that I didn't like having to rent a beach chair - very pricey. Either make the rental fee more affordable or waive it altogether. Also, the restaurants in this hotel are not amazing. The pool restaurant has good eats but very few healthy options. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Loved it.

Waikiki established its reputation as a getaway when the Moana Surfrider opened its doors in 1901. Today, more than 30,000 hotel rooms are packed in the skyscrapers along the golden sands of Waikiki Beach. At the end of Waikiki, Diamond Head towers as an enduring landmark. West of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor offers a somber testament to history and the victims of World War II.
