The staff was extremely accommodating and very nice. We were able to check out hotel bicycles for free to tour the city - this was an amazing perk! The hotel is a little bit older but clean and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel and room. Asked for quiet room
And got 14 floor and end of hallway and it was as quiet as a city room could be. Appreciate when bed has comforter between two sheets. Bathroom is too small for even one person. Young woman running hostess desk/takeout at breakfast restaurant not knowledgable. Desk staff and door staff and valet all very helpful. Tried to save some money and park in lots in the same block but wouldn't take overnight cars or price not that much cheaper than $59 valet.
Great location for meetings on K street. Enjoyed delicious lunch at Georgia Brown and amazing dinner at Kapnos.

Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.
