This was my first trip staying at the Fairmont as I have stayed in many other hotels in Pittsburgh. What a fantastic place. The room is absolutely beautiful, located in the perfect spot downtown walkable to so many bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a first class hotel. It's not cheap but absolutely worth the money. My wife had a great massage that she would recommend as well. Thanks for the great stay!

Second stay at the Monaco. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. A couple minute delay at the front desk resulted in complimentary cocktails from the bar. The rooms are trendy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Wanted to get away without traveling far..so we picked a hotel in the City that was a good location with nice amenities. The room was tiny, but comfortable for two people. We used the pool and hot tub, but not as much as we wanted because the hot tub had hair and dirty foam all over the perimeter. Also, there was so much chlorine in the hot tub our eyes were burning as soon as we got near it. The bar was kind of lame and expensive. The hotel has a 'dog concierge' which was neat; a beautiful, friendly husky. Valet parking was our only option and it was $30 a night which was expensive for this area. It was also $20+ a night for a microwave and/or mini fridge which was a little ridiculous. The front desk girls could not answer any of our questions.

It was my niece's birthday so my sister, her aunt, and I treated her to an overnight stay at the Springhill Suites on the North Shore in Pgh., PA. We had a great time. All the staff was so kind and the rooms were excellent. We talked about staying there in the future. The only thing that was a little off was that I was charged $20.00 on my Visa charge, for an incidental fee, for a lack of a better description. This "is in case something happens", as told by the staff. "if nothing happens, I would be refunded $20.00 in 3-5 days". Well nothing happened, and I expect to receive my refund. However, I was concerned that no one provided me with that information prior to the deductions. It was not a problem, but it would have been nice to be informed up front.

Known both as the Golden Triangle and the Central Business District, this area is the city’s arts and commercial center. Catch a show at the 14-square-block Cultural District, home to a bevy of theaters and galleries. Its Point State Park, a national historic landmark, hosts the Three Rivers Arts Festival each year. To the north, The Andy Warhol Museum pays homage to its pop-art namesake.
