Not impressed

Breakfast was awful - poor quality, overcrowded rooms. Pool out of commission. Room was decent. A little run down. The area was close to beach but that area was crowded, and sketchy - basically a city that happened to have a pretty beach. Also - the hotel should have a shuttle to airport service. Would not stay there again or in that area at all.

Disappointing visit

The front of house staff were friendly and provided assistance when required. The room and bathroom were both tired and required complete refurbishment. The shower and bathroom had not been properly cleaned before our visit. The breakfast was just awful, certainly not of a standard that one would expect at a Hyatt Hotel. So pleased that we were only stopping one night!

We went last year and it was great so we chose it again. This time we were on the other end, and the elevator is terrrrrible. So suggestion is stay in the right side annd get the valet parking. It’s worth it. And hot! The hotel lobby is hot. The staff is good. The pool was closed due to renovations. BUT the location is good. Walkable to nightlife, ABC stores and beach.

Good area but I was disappointed that there pool was being renovated during our stay and I was not notified of it or else I would have changed my booking. I also wasn’t notified of it during my check in either, my daughter and I walked down to the pool to find out our selves that it was closed. The pool was one of the reasons I booked it and then the breakfast included was a disappointment to almost same breakfast everyday except they would change one thing, not very many options when your don’t eat meat. Also the major disappointment was that our room AC broke down at night and we had to change rooms in the middle of the night with our sleeping kid. We didn’t get any compensation for any of the inconvenience we had to go through.

This place kinda sucks. I booked this hotel because of the raving reviews, but this was a let down. Expect to wait at least 5 minutes to get on an elevator to and from your room. Long lines to get to elevator during peak times. The AC in our room was not working. Relatively cheaper room compared to nicer hotels in the area, so I guess you get what you pay for.
