The hotel is very unique housed in the former basketball arena shaped like a pyramid. The rooms are quite nice and furnished in a rustic manner. There can be a lot of walking involved in getting to your room if you are on the back side of the pyramid from the hotel entrance. There are only 2 public elevators - one on each side of the pyramid - and then one in the center of the store that goes up to a restaurant and observation deck. We found that the staff was not very well trained at the hotel and it took us at least 30 minutes to check in due to the lack of training. That was not a good start to the stay. I spoke to the hotel manager the next morning and she was appreciative of my comments, but totally oblivious to what had happened, including one couple demanding their money back and leaving as a result of the horrid check in experience. The only restaurant is "Uncle Buck's" and it has a very limited menu. The quality of the food is OK and the restaurant servers were friendly. There appears to be limited kitchen staff and the kitchen is located quite a way from the dining area so the service is not very quick. There are lots of goodies in the room from the store below as an incentive for buying more, and the fresh cookies in the room every night are a nice touch.

Unique hotel, nestled next to Elvis’s iconic Graceland! The property and staff did not disappoint. The room was well appointed and very clean. The attention to detail was spot on, with Elvis music, concerts, movies and Memphis “to do’s” easy found on the tv. Whether your 9 or 90, there’s something to do for everyone.

Had a great time in Memphis. We did a lot in the Beale Street area, and the Westin was right in the middle of it, so we were able to walk to our destinations within a few minutes. When we needed our car, the Valet service at the Westin was super quick. Rooms were great, hotel clean and modern.

With rates as low as a filthy motel 6, this hotel is clean, comfortable, and nice. Very spacious. Microwave, freezer, and television. The only thing is, no real comforter on the bed, just really thick sheets.
