I am a single man who does not need much. For the price over the long weekend it was the best rate to stay downtown Vancouver. It serves the purpose. I was out most of the day and night so used the room to sleep and store my things while exploring the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would most likely stay there again when back in Vancouver.

We initially booked for 2 nights ( a little hesitant about the hotel because of some previous negative reviews) but were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette. As we were very pleased with the facilities and to enjoy more time in Vancouver, we extended our stay an additional night. The front desk staff were extremely helpful in arranging this for us at a time when the city was full of tourists and accommodation quite tight. While the lack of a lift in the hotel is a minor issue and the quality of the wifi connection was somewhat unreliable, we found the accommodation very comfortable, and our view (from the back of the property) very pleasant out towards the water. We would recommend the hotel to other travellers.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Robson street and the Gaslight district. BC place is also next door which allowed us to attend a soccer match last minute. Close to many great bars and shops, great hotel and area to stay in.

"Details can make a stay great instead of just good"
They forgot my wake up call so the knock on my door with breakfast woke me up - not a great way to start my busy day.
The maid walked in without knocking and I was naked as a jay bird - now that ticked me off.
