Found the hotel very close to Rogers arena which is where I attended the McCartney concert. My only beef would be that it was a little pricey at $500 a night. I've stayed at world class hotels that were a fraction of that. If there is ever a significant price drop, I may come back.

"Old hotel. Not great parking area or rear entry. "
Front entrance fine but underground parkade and rear hotel entrance are pretty grubby. Parkade secure though. Very old hotel with cheap renovation trying to look high end but failing.
Clean enough for the value seeker like myself. Good enough with weak wifi.

Chose this hotel because of price and closeness to venue. Check-in was quick and easy and front desk staff pleasant. Room was small and the hotel is older but there have been some updates and it was clean. My only grievance is the bathroom. No counter to put toiletries and the shower fixture is way to low. Needs to be higher up on the wall. Great if you are 5'2".

This is a nice hotel, but it is old. There's only so much you can do with an old building. Updates are needed and appear to be in progress. They put on a good front with newness and modern features here and there. Bathrooms are small. The pool water looked a bit murky, and old, but it's indoor. Noise level is a bit high, you can hear your earlier raising neighbors pretty well. The location is great. 2 blocks from Robson.

We visited for 3 nights on our honeymoon. The staff were amazingly friendly, and recognised us even after only 1 evening in the hotel. The bar in the hotel is great and food isn't too pricey. The breakfast menu is expensive, so we walked to a local restaurant instead of paying $30. Other than that our stay was amazing.

The Opus Hotel in Vancouver is awesome. It's a 96 room boutique - Well appointed room and excellent bath. Seems like they've thougt of everything. Very comfortable bedding - Fireplace, Nice Bed Shower and Bath; Excellent scented Shampoo, Conditioner and Bath Gel - No small bottles - big in wall dispensers. The welcome Sparkling Water, Snacks and a typed welcome with MY name on it said immediately that they were glad I was their guest. A variety of restaurants close by; No wait for Taxis and Subway if needed right across the street. They have thought well about their decor and visitor experience. I would not stay anywhere else when returning to Vancouver.
