The room was great value on Expedia. Each room has amazing funky furniture, like large logs with glazed surfaces, and a full size window reading nook with velvet surface. I found myself sending friends and family members photos of the cool geometric sinks and surround spray shower features. Walking through the hallways with cool lighting, stencil ceilings was such a fun change for this weary business traveller. Continental breakfast was free with fresh preserves and some basic fruit and crusty bread and chocolate croissants etc in the downstairs restaurant. It was very close to shopping, McGill University, Mount Royal running/hiking, and the downtown trainstation / conference facilities. The staff were helpful, and the place is a hidden gem.

While tge hotel is almost 50 years old and the architecture is brut at its worst, the room was lovely and modern. The rooftop pool was enjoyed by my husband. The setting must be gorgeous in all the seasons but early spring when all is brown and the snow is gone. Would be great in the winter to not have to go out to get around the downtown.

The hotel was cool. It was in the Center of Montreal, plus they had a free cab to drop you off within a particular radius. It also has its own club, which you get in for free and do not have to wait online since you stay there
