The hotel was fine. I didn’t find it to be anything overly unique or special. I was very frustrated with the unexpected fees at check in that cost an additional $800. While I will receive $500 back as long as there are no issues, it can take up to a month for the credit to come back to me. I am also glad I didn’t end up renting a car because that would have been an additional $50/ night to park. I felt like for the cost of the hotel, it was unnecessary to nickel and dime me for every little thing. I had to pay a resort fee for $60/ per person per day for amenities that I never used or fully understood. In my opinion, not worth it and I will not being staying here again.

My recent stay at the Waikīkī Marriott Resort & Spa was truly exceptional. The hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Waikiki, providing all the resources you could possibly need right on-site, including rentals, packages, and tours. This convenience made it incredibly easy to plan and enjoy all the local attractions. The hotel's facilities are also a major highlight. The entire property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with clear and helpful signage that makes it simple to navigate. From the pools to the common areas, everything felt neat. What really made my experience stand out, though, was the staff. Everyone I encountered—from the front desk to the retail stores—was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their genuine aloha spirit made me feel right at home and elevated the entire stay. I highly recommend the Waikīkī Marriott Resort & Spa for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly hotel with top-notch amenities. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Waikiki.
