The front desk staff were extremely nice upon arrival. the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel could use a serious update. They have some great amenities; one being that a shuttle driver will take you and pick you up anywhere within a 3-mile radius. My only complaint about that is during my stay the driver decided to mix business with pleasure and lost focus of his duties. When he picked us up he had his girlfriend riding in the front seat and seemed to rush us to our destination. She started talking about the errands she needed to run and complete for the afternoon. Overall the hotel was ok and the staff were very kind.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Large, spacious rooms. Fridge and microwave in working order. Staff very friendly and helpful when needed. Was able to get WiFi in my room, which was a plus as usually only works in reception and computer suite. Nice quiet room most of the week I was here, but other patrons need to be respectful of others when arriving back from a night out, as 2am is not a good time to be woken by loud voices outside the door and heavy footsteps from the room above. Signs reminding others are sleeping, in the lift, could be helpful (who knows). Great stay otherwise.

This is is a nice basic hotel. The amenities are consistent to it's low price. No breakfast, and the towels are thin and scratchy, no table/desk to write on, bed hard. Very conveniently located to downtown Atlanta and the parking is free. There was no bedside table lamp on check-in but a call to the front desk provided one. I do think that even a basic hotel should provide bedside lamps routinely. The wifi is free, fast and exceptionally easy to log into!

"POOL is closed for renovations
Smoking room not g"
Pool was closed I wish we knew that. Kids were very upset.
My kids have asthma and we were given a smoking room.
Expedia should ask all Hotels to have bottled water in the room, do people do not get dehydrated in warm cities.
They could add it to the room charge without people even knowing.
Time for Holiday Inn to give free coffee all day.....use to that.
Not bad Hotel otherwise.

We had a weekend in town for events and chose the W Downtown. This is a very tight urban area which means lots of restaurants and amenities, and some traffic and circulation issues to deal with. For our purpose of getting around the core of Atlanta it has a safe location while being close to everything. We had an issue with our car in the valet line and the lead valet Abraham did an amazing job of handling the situation and was very professional despite having loads of people in the line waiting at the same time. He handled the situation and we thank him a lot for correcting the situation as quickly as possible. Thank you Abraham!

I really liked the feel of the hotel. The area wasn't that great and the parking is kind of a nightmare. It's annoying that you can't just get your own cart, but have to have a bellman bring it to your room each time. It was clean and i loved the pool area. I'd come back again for less than $100/night.

The CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park are the centerpieces of downtown Atlanta. The Georgia World Congress Center, America’s fourth largest convention center, borders the park. Next door, the Georgia Dome is home of the NFL’s Falcons. At Pemberton Place, the World of Coca-Cola allows for a close study of pop culture. Also downtown are the MLB Braves’ Turner Field and the Georgia Aquarium.
