Very nice hotel. Excellent and courteous staffs. Gym and swimming pool are very nice and well maintained. There are also basketball court, courtyard, and open theater. Because of our length of stay, we were even automatically upgraded to a larger room on higher floors without extra charge. The room has panoramic view and a magnificent sunset view of LA. Overall, a very very pleasant stay.

They do have a shuttle car that will take you and pick you up around town as long as it is within 3 miles from the hotel, which will save you from having to spend money on a taxi or Uber. Drinks and food abit pricey, but you are in California

Hotel Normandie is an old building remodelled. Whilst I was comfortable and the room had all that I needed it doesn't have the extras if that's what you are after. Saying that bed was very comfortable, nice enough bathroom, hot water. Nice area close to the Metro for travel all over L.A. Would stay again.
