"Hotel is very well positioned."
We had a family room with two queen sized beds. The room is spacious however there is very little if any storage space except for the clothes hanger. With four people we had to live out our suitcases as there was no chest of draws to put our clothes. This reduced the comfort of the room. Also there was nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels despite the hotel encouraging the reuse of towels. Also we ordered room service a couple of times bur there was no place to put food nor chairs no table to eat at. We had dinner on our beds.

"Decent value for money"
Good location 1 block from Powell BART, but adjacent to seedy area. Room was fine, but wifi was terrible, which forced me to go down to lobby to get get reasonable wifi connection. "Breakfast" in brown paper bag was underwhelming.

"Nice but hidden little charges"
A dark hotel with a chair theme. But the room is light elegant and beautiful. Charges for laundry bag! $35. Shaving blades:$18. And all kinds of charges for room service and a carrying charge - what's that?

"Great hotel"
Stayed for one night. Check-in and out was quick and easy. They gave my room away which was a deluxe queen room, im guessing it was because I didn't pay for it online and paying for the room there. They ended up upgrading my room to a deluxe king, it was very spacious, the view wasn't bad at all, the amenities were nice and the couch had a pull out bed that could fit two people comfortably. I would definitely come back to place again.

"The hotel is excellent for the price "
It's is in a relatively good location. Close to a few bars and food spots. Lots of bums all over but they usually mind their own business. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

"Amazing stay!!!"
I must admit, I was a little hesitant at first because our uber driver couldn't stop stressing how close the hotel was to the tenderloin. But from the second we got there I knew that he was being a little over the top. The location was amazing! A number of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. anything you could need was right around the corner. The Walgreens across the street was just an added bonus for any small thing we needed. Now, the staff was another thing I had read bad reviews about and let me tell you, the only reason the staff could possibly be rude to you is if you were rude to them because everyone there was up to par. We had to order towels and a robe and both times they got there in under 5 minutes with a smile on their face. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and they do have a room to hold your bags if needed. The amenities fee of $22 a night was well worth it when it came to the wine social hour which is free and you can have as much wine as your heart desires. We even decided to have brunch in the hotel restaurant, Tratto, and it was a very well made last decision. $14 bottomless mimosas and the food and staff were both amazing. Overall I would 100% stay at this hotel again! Thank you to all the staff!!

"An oldie but goodie"
It"s and old motel but very clean, comfortable. It can be a bit noisy because of the restaurant bar just across the pool. The motel does provide ear plugs. It has free parking well worth any inconvenience with noise. Its located close to what ever you are looking for in down town San Francisco. Taxis are plentiful and you can go just about anywhere in the down town area for under $20.00. The hotel is safe although the surrounding area can be scary, (lots of homeless folks). My wife and I are in our 60's and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

"Comfy, Quick, Clean and Inexpensive"
Came down to San Fran for the weekend-Im a So Cal Native- overall my favorite thing about the trip was the hotel. It was worth every penny. The rooms are of a smaller size (for two people)-but everything fit and served its purpose, they were clean!!!, New, bed was comfy, the pillows were my fav (very fluffy). The decor is beautiful and the location was central. You get a hotel to sleep and leave your things while you are out traveling or handling business. It is not your Home, Your gym, or Favorite restaurant. ITS A HOTEL- sleeping accommodations. And they provided more than what was expected staff was great friendly helpful answered every and any question, gave you tips on traveling through the city-down to earth and kind. for the price I was worried because all the other hotels were much more expensive-so i was just waiting for something to give me the "ah! that is why it was so cheap" but honestly-my stay was great! Goods: *decor was beautiful modern and classy *rooms were clean *shower was spacious and great temperature *wood flooring (i get grossed out by carpet) *bed was comfy and fluffy *Nescafe free in your room (great in the morning) *inexpensive *friendly and kind staff *TV/ Heat/AC/lighting *Location was central *Late check in and check out Didn't bother me much but maybe some it would: *valet parking is $50 *walls are a little thinner so sound is echoed *at night there are homeless around area *bathroom door was slightly transparent

Tenderloin is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tenderloin, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tenderloin hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
