"Reasonable price, decent breakfast included"
Older building but perfectly adequate with recent upgrades. Room was quiet and parking is located right in front of room doors. A good breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, pancakes and waffles is included. Probably one of the best deals around.

"Nice hotel in Downtown Redwood"
The hotel is a very basic facility with a fabulous staff and everything you need. There is a microwave and fridge and an Outlet Grocery Store a block away. For bargain shoppers there is a Savers across the street. There is easy access onto the freeway and El Camino Drive. They serve Starbucks and Orange Juice in the lobby. I have stayed here twice before and had great service each time. There is not an elevator so you need to inform them if this is a concern. Most trips this is not a problem but my sister is being treated at Stanford for Cancer and was in the hospital at home before she came. She had oxygen. I called at the last minute and they moved us downstairs and upgraded the room to a private bathroom to accommodate her. All the staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance. It is a pleasant location.

"Quiet roomy hotel convenient to most places"
The hotel is at the corner of major streets, and yet in a quiet area where freeway noise does not get heard from your rooms. The room is spacious and there is a lot common areas including an indoor pool. The room is well setup for multiple travelers with separate closets and cloth hanging areas. The only thing about this hotel is that the furniture are way too old. My room has a coach that is malfunctioning and dirty. If you sit on it suddenly, it will hurt your butt. Other than that, it is overall a pleasure experience.

"traffic noise"
located at a busy intersection; could hear autos and motorcycles when trying to sleep; spent 3 nights there; on the morning of our departure, the breakfast area was closed due to some error by the staff and I had to go to a local drive thru for a fast food sandwich and coffee ... this was disappointing; the continental breakfasts offered for the first 2 days were superlative with a nice and varied assortment of items

"Nice safe hotel close to restaurants"
The hotel was being renovated, so maybe some of my comments will be resolved as they finish. Everything smelled like wet paint. The room, on first entering, looked clean and was spacious. We did find, however, hairs in the bathtub when we released the plug to take a shower and found a used hand towel under the basin on the floor, which made me question how well the room was actually cleaned. TV had limited stations, and some didn't come in very well. I thought the bed was comfortable (my daughter and I shared a King) and the pillows were great--my daughter thought the bed was too hard. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the included hot breakfast. It was disappointing. The eggs were suspect and I could only take a bite--the cheese wasn't real--some sort of processed something. Bacon was paper thin...we had instant oatmeal...the toppings for the oatmeal were great however, raisins, nuts, brown sugar. Typical continental though--toast, cereal, packaged pastries. I felt safe and we were close to where we needed to be. It was quiet, but we were there in the middle of the week so it wasn't full. Our refrigerator woke me up in the middle of the night when the heater kicked off...I thought it was the alarm to get up! If we didn't have items in the fridge, I would've turned it off. The staff was nice and helpful, and gave us pointers on parking downtown by the restaurant we were headed towards. Overall, though, we were disappointed for the price.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Redwood City hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
