The hotel is great but I paid more for valet parking and resort fee than I did for the one night! Resort fee $40 for nothing and valet parking is just daylight robbery $91! Not impressed and won’t be staying here again!

Such a special hotel in such a special city

The Hyatt Regency is an amazing hotel. Especially if you like modern architecture, this building must be experienced. It is well-located for getting to tourist attractions without being surrounded by them. Great for conventions. Be sure to mention any disabilities because most rooms are quite a trek to the elevator. And if you don't like elevators, forget it, because they are a highlight of the HR experience!

Great service. Beautiful views. Pillows werent very comfortable. It seems like only 2 of the elevators were working. It took a really long time getting to and from the room.

This was the first time I had stayed at the Hyatt and my mom's first time in San Francisco. From the time we checked in and were helped bring our bags to our room, we were incredibly happy. The service was amazing. Every staff member we interacted with was fantastic and very kind. The room was lovely and cozy. The location was great; it was right in the middle of everything which made it easy to stay busy. We will definitely be returning to the Hyatt!

This place is in the heart of San Francisco, and the interior feels like you’re inside a spaceship! It’s super convenient to all the main tourist attractions. I’m a local, and I decided to take my elderly parents on a staycation, and we absolutely loved it. The place is really clean and safe. The best part is the ferry building, which is just a five-minute walk away. You can wake up, grab a delicious artisan coffee and pastry, and start your day off right.
