We were a party of 6 enjoying a small vacation at the Valentin Imperial Maya(All Inclusive Resort). We were brought by taxi thru the beautiful facade of the resort, down a long lush jungle pathway. The taxi was immediately met by the Bell staff who acquired our luggage and transported them to a small hotel vehicle. During which, we were all given cold towels to refresh our hands and face...very nice touch! We were then escorted to the front desk area for check (no lines at this time). We were all given a flute of champagne as the brief check in procedure continued. Once this was completed, we hopped on the hotel cart and were brought to our rooms - after a brief stop at the first of many complimentary bars.
The resort landscaping was immaculately kept and continued to be so every single day(without bother to the guests). The rooms were large and well appointed(we had the Silver Junior Suite) including a large jetted tub, king bed and fully stocked bar(refreshed daily).
The alcohol was readily available, and poured well by the bar staff with premium selections always available at request. There were numerous restaurants with very good and varied foods. The breakfast fair was especially diverse.
Concierge staff were there to assist with the many tours available at an extra cost (we chose the Xplore trip - which was fantastic).
The free amenities were wonderful including a gym, health classes and the like but we were there to relax. The pools were spectacular and larg

This is a great place to escape it all. Friendly staff and great drinks. Rooms are very nice and updated. Beach is very nice, soft sand and plenty of sunshine! Always something to do if you care to. Activities abound. Or you can just laze about on the beach or by the pool. We have been there 3 times and would go back again. And if you love wildlife, the Coatimundi's and Agouti's are adorable!

Hotel is very clean, luxurious and well maintained. Foods are best ever I've had in Cancun hotels. Nice golf course. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. A little bit pricy but worth. Only cons is that bathroom floor is too slippery. Elderly people should be very careful. Also our ride SuperShuttle was terrible. Best day wasn't that bad. I don't know why Expedia has that company as a transportation

We had a fabulous experience. The resort was very nice and the staff was super friendly. The number and quality of restaurants and drink options were much better than your typical all-inclusive resort. Great option for an adult-only resort.

We just stayed in the individual casitas and it was amazing. It was close to the beach and pool. The staff is very friendly and the food is terrific. The only downside is there was no place to swim in the ocean as it has been eroded away.

If you're looking for a classy hotel far from the hussle and noise, this place is the best. The two rests are so nice, the beach is beautiful, spa is amazing.
Gone with kids and without, both experiences were great.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was fun to stay in the little cabanas, very nice and comfy. A little out of the way, ($30 US cab fare each way to Playa del Carmen). The walk through the security gate and down the road to the beach was about 2 miles but sidewalk most of the way, but there are always cabs across the way at the restaurant. The beach is gorgeous and uncrowded, there are high-end resorts further down the beach. The menu and food at the restaurant could use a makeover, not everyone wants a burger and it is a shame they don't offer more variety. The restaurant is a very nice setting for breakfast. There is a tiny store next to the restaurant that we didn't see until we were leaving. The staff at the front desk were really nice and helpful.

Between the quite fishing village of Puerto Morelos and the lively international scene in Playa del Carmen lies the Maroma area. Undeveloped white-sand beaches provide a tranquil escape from the crowds, and off-shore reefs offer plenty of interesting terrain for snorkeling.
