The service in the hotel restaurants pool Beach housekeeping Spa top notch. The front desk was somewhat rude. Wanted to get a room a little closer to beach was told to come back in a couple of hours. If we waited they could accommodate us. No upon return. The resort was half full as we were told by several staff and also we observed less than full capacity. Upon check out bill was in Spanish. Couldn't make out it clerk seemed annoyed.

This hotel is spacious, clean, and located within walking distance of all of downtown Tulum. If you want the beach, then you should stay at one of the beachside resorts, which are not within walking distance of downtown Tulum. However, Tulum is a great town just on the outskirts of the touristy area originating in Cancun and extending south. At Tulum, you will find an abundance of small shops, authentic local restaurants, and a small town atmosphere, but with tourist restaurants and bars if you want them. The staff at the hotel are all very pleasant. We stayed at this hotel twice now, and we will stay there when we visit Tulum next time.

Hotel staff were very welcoming! We were given a drink upon arrival and a 5min welcome massage. On the way to our room we were shown where everything on site was.
The rooms was okay very spacious had a massive hot tub and separate bathroom and a patio area.
The pool area was beautiful quite big and has a swim up bar. Theres a gym. Theg have four 'hot' tubs outside... but the water was never hot.... it was cold. There is no sandy beach at this hotel. They have like a area where they have beds hammocks and loungers away from the pool area facing the water. But it's surrounded by rocks. This didn't bother us as the way it was set up was beautifully. People staying at Kore get free entry to a beach that is 5-10min bike ride away and loungers that beach is absolutely stunning.
The food drinks were okay... portions were small but unlimited as it is all inclusive. We only ever had breakfast there not spectacular... standard. We had lunch there once and it was buffet style with a great selection of food (seafood, burgers, pasta, salad...).
Location was pretty good it was in the middle of everything. They have free bike rentals at the hotel. If they had bikes available we would cycle instead of a taxi. You have to be early though to get bikes by 830am or they'll be gone. It's close to the Mayan Ruins and close to some of the most beautiful and delicious restaurants I have ever been to in my life. HARTWOOD, Mur Mur and Casa Banana!! I would definitely return
