You can not ask for a better staff. The food was absolutely to die for. The rooms were wonderful. It rained the entire time on our trip. I would have given this a 5 except that because it rained there was literally nothing to do. Maybe some indoor activities in case of bad weather would be nice. The beach was beautiful the pool was excellent and we made the best of it.

This Novotel is located in the heart of the relatively new, Santa Fe business complex outside Mexico City, about 45 minute to 1 hour from the airport, depending on traffic. A large shopping mall and banks are located across the street.
The property is consistent with other Novotel hotels. The rooms are plain but spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The front desk staff were welcoming and completely reliable. The included breakfast buffet does not have an overwhelming range of offerings, but all of it is very good quality, with a pleasing mixture of Mexican and international breakfast foods.

We stayed seven days at this hotel as part of a group of about 70 people. We had a fantastic time, as there were plenty of activities and fun places to be. The staff was outstanding from check-in to check-out, and I would gladly go back for another seven days.
We booked a two double bed room, but ended up in a king room for the first night as they were very full. We're flexible, so there was no problem for us there, but we did move rooms on the second day which was an easy process.
The only thing that earned the hotel a 4 instead of a 5 was that the shower was leaking out of the top so we would get spray from both the shower head and the ceiling, and the ceiling fans didn't work in both our first room and our second.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Most speak English and are very polite. The resort grounds are very well maintained. Many beautiful palms and flowers. The beach was perfect and groomed every morning. The resort is 20 to 30 minutes from the downtown PV boardwalk, it cost us $10 US for the taxi ride there. The food was great, the French restaurant is a must!
