Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience – Not Worth the Hype
I recently stayed at this resort expecting a relaxing, all-inclusive vacation in Mexico, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.
First, the food was incredibly repetitive and low quality. Most of the meals were bland, overcooked, or clearly recycled from earlier in the day. Even the “specialty” restaurants felt like glorified buffets with poor service despite requiring reservations.
Getting clean towels, drinks, or basic assistance often took 30+ minutes, if we got help at all.
I tried multiple calls to the front desk & no one ever answered the phone. To make matters worse, there was a gecko in our room. I understand that we’re in a tropical area, but we didn’t pay for a room with wildlife. Not exactly the customer service you hope for in a resort.
Our room was in terrible condition — it smelled musty, the furniture was worn, and the air conditioning unit was leaking water from the ceiling onto the floor. We reported it multiple times, but nothing was done. As a result, my son slipped and fell hard on the wet tile floor. Thankfully, he wasn’t seriously hurt, but it could’ve been much worse. There were no apologies, no follow-up, and no concern from staff.
Between the unsafe room, lack of accountability, gecko in our space, and poor food/service, this was not the relaxing getaway we paid for. We left early and will not be coming back. I do not recommend this resort to anyone —
