I have stayed at the Moon Palace over 20 times; the first time in 1996. The resort has aged but still maintains a high level of service; friendly staff; good food choices; and safety. The rooms are getting outdated but I’m glad to see they have begun using an app for service requests. I would rate it 8/10.

Huge thanks to Manuel at the front desk and Jesus Torres, lobby ambassador at Moon Palace! Manuel gave us the warmest welcome and made check in a breeze. Jesus went above and beyond for us, handling all our dinner reservations and even setting up a WhatsApp group to check in on us daily. Traveling with kids can be tough, not only that but it was our first time in Mexico. Their kindness and care made our trip so much greater. Truly outstanding service!!

The check-in process is long. Please look into more digital options for specific guests or more efficient ways. Wedding department: please add golf carts to your wedding packages to accommodate wedding guests and parties. Weddings happen at the different properties and it would increase your property value and you’ll make more money if you offer that service. Why have children and the elderly wait for carts or walk in the heat to weddings. This is a major issue across resorts and I don’t understand how no one is making this a priority to fix and make your guests happier.
