"I am a repeat offender!"
I think this my 8th time here, but not sure. These folks just do a really nice job with everything: rooms are spotless; close to the beach; diving and swimming right across your private bridge. Good restaurant and bar. A little out of town, which is nice to avoid the bad crowds. Extremely helpful staff.

"Another wonderful experience."
We have been visiting La Ceiba for for over a dozen years and it never dissappoints. Great location and an exceptional staff are the key reasons for us always choosing to come back a couple times a year. The staff treats you like part of their family and the experience is made even more enjoyable seeing how they support and respect each other. Esther, Roberto B., Jorge, Crisanto and Julietta are big part of the reasons for the La Ceiba's popularity. My feelings are shared by many of the members/guests that we have seen over the years. One thing we discussed was the music playing on the beach andat the pool area. It can be loud and to make it worse, the restaurant plays music that you can hear on oneside of the pool and activities guy puts a speaker 50ft away playing different music.

"Nice hotel in good location with great staff"
Have stayed here a number of times over the years and always enjoy it. Central location is great for walks and visiting the town centre. Staff are friendly, helpful and have a sense of humour. Nice to see many of the same staff, which tells me it must be a good place to work. Rooms are spacious and clean, and well-equipped for the price. Meals are plentiful and have a good variety. Nice relaxed atmosphere - not fancy, just comfortable. Really good value for money. There is a large pool, hot tub and kiddy pool in the centre of the hotel with lots of trees and flowers. The hotel is across the road from the ocean, but has a pleasant restaurant/bar and beach club on the ocean that can be accessed by a convenient funky tunnel (or by crossing the road).

"Good location, small beach area"
The resort is well maintained and the service was acceptable. The beach area is small but there are not many resorts this close to town with a beach. Have to reserve chairs early if you want to sit on the beach or by one of the waterfront pools. We were there over the holidays so it may not always be that way. The food is ok but the 12 and over rule for the ala carts restaurantd doesn't make any sense. We had our 8 year old with us so we could only eat at the buffet which gets old. A lot of activities for kids so it seems like a family resort but not allowing them in the restaurants definitely makes it not a family resort.

"So much better than a hotel. "
Family of 5 rented 3 bedroom unit on 5th floor. Was beautifully decorated and plenty of room. 3 master bedrooms w own baths. Large kitchen and living area. Huge porch w full dining table. Money bar across the street very convenient but pretty small and very rocky water access. We ventured out most days. Worth a trip to see other side of the island. We definitely will recommend the landmark.

"Its all here."
We stayed 3 days/nights after 4 days at a hotel closer to town. Fiesta Americana was a perfect contrast with very nice, clean updated rooms and all inclusive so we did not need to get taxis to go eat. We had done our island explorations and were ready to just chillax in the cabana and snorkel. The service was excellent in every way. All were gracious and willing to meet any request. All of the food was good but we liked the ceviche hut the best and Rosato and Peninsula restaurants. The show at night gave us some entertainment. I hoped to use the bicycles but they were awful. Overall excellent experience and we would stay here again.

"Beautiful ocean view"
Very quiet. Immediate access to pool and ocean. Staff extremely friendly, and attentive, upon request. Property is clean and well maintained. Felt secure. A variety of meal options, but some of the temperature could improve, hot foods hot, cold foods cold. Would love to have more vegetarian options available. Too much sales pressure to purchase other amenities - excursions, timeshares, transportation options.

Cozumel is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Cozumel, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Cozumel hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
