I have stayed there in the past. Hotel is well situated and the staff is very friendly. We had an incident with cockroaches due to fumigation...quite unpleasant but the reaction was very quick by the maintenance staff to react.
Check-in and check -out was seamless which was a huge plus. Our 1 bedroom suite was very large with 2 bathrooms which was a huge plus since we were three ladies. Kitchen facilities were adequate for our needs but we found that all the knives were in dire need of sharpening since it was very difficult to cut anything including a papaya. Our maid was not as thourough as we would have liked....
Beach staff was very accomodating always ready to help set up our palapa.
Overall...we were satisfied with our stay!

Lets be clear. I stayed at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort which is different than the Club. The Club is a time share section on the South side of the property. The hotel / resort was fantastic. Great staff, great room, great location. The pools are great, the beach in front was also very good. Sand has returned and though a bit coarse, it is easy to walk on. I snorkeled around the rocks in front of the resort and was able to take plenty of pictures of fish even though the visibility is not very good.

When we stayed at this brand new hotel the first part of November, it was still getting some finishing touches. That said, it was still an incredible stay. The staff was outstanding. Sayeg, the hotel's front desk and on the ground contact point attended to our every need. The rest of the staff greeted us by name and always asked if we were in need of anything. The room was large, appointed in contemporary, vibrant and locally made furnishings with a full kitchen. The central courtyard/pool was decorated with local plants and had a village plaza feel to it. We ate at the on site restaurant and the food was worthy of five stars. It is a short block and a half walk to the beach and a five minute walk to the Sayulita village center. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I spent 7 nights at this beautiful property. Small intimate resort. Great views about 1000 feet up on a mountain looking down at the bay and city. Staff was very helpful and courteous. As part of VIP property with Expedia at check in we were given an upgrade to a beautiful room up on the 8th floor and 20% off some of the restaurants which we appreciated.
We spent most of our time enjoying the upper deck adult pool which was very peaceful with outstanding views. The Front desk honored our request for a one hour late checkout cause our plane wasn’t leaving till mid day. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your every need is taken care of

Not for everyone. Located close enough to the beach and in old town. All the bars and restaurants you could want and lots of taco stands with outstanding food. You will get the cultural experience here and not be a tourist. Basic, clean and not one complaint. My third stay here at 20$ per night. Do it again for sure.

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Dona Susana. I was there for a week. The hotel is quite pretty with a courtyard in the centre of it and a nice rooftop pool with a good view of the city as well. Th staff were great and I had left my entry card in my room and it was no problem to get a temporary replacement. This happened after a night out and t was quite late so I really appreciated it. The cleaning staff were great and quixk. Often I would go out for breakfast, put a sign on the door for cleaning and by the time I got back an hour and a half later it was already done. The hotel was nice and quiet too which I appreciated. The location is good as well just a couple of blocks back from the beach. I didn’t use the facilities of the sister hotel Playa Los Arcos but they have a nice pool and beach side seating. I had friends staying in another hotel but had that not been the case I would have likely used it. Playa Los Arcos is a much bigger and busier hotel but I kind of liked that Casa Dona Susana is on a smaller and more intimate scale. Sometimes the shower wasn’t hot In the mornings but I didn’t mind that so much. Highly recommended!

Pocket Guide: Puerto Vallarta Marina Vallarta Hotels
Marina Vallarta is a large residential and tourist complex with a 500-slip marina. The marina’s lighthouse, El Faro, features a cocktail lounge that’s popular during sunset. The community’s namesake 18-hole golf course gives a new meaning to term water hazard: crocodiles inhabit its lagoons. Restaurants and shops line Marina Vallarta’s boardwalk.
