Overall I really recommend this all inclusive! It really holds to its description. You’re right on the beach, the hotel makes transportation easy and reliable, and the pool & amenities are great.

Had a great time at Barcelo. There’s just a few things that need improvement. The food wasn’t the greatest and didn’t get to eat at any of the restaurants. A table of 4 was reserved and we had 1 add on but they said aboslultey not. It was for my father’s birthday so that was disappointing. Music plays extremely loud until 1-2am so it was hard to sleep every night. There was mold all over the curtains in the room I stayed in. The drinks were extremely watered down. Tasted like no alcohol, very watery. Beach was okay. It was shared with locals and tons of boats in the water. Postivie: Only about 20-25 minutes from Downtown. Staff was very friendly and easy check in.

I think this place was average food was ok, service was ok, the pool was ok. For kids that are 3 to 4 feet tall, to be in the pool you need someone with them at all times because of the height of the pool. Theu have a kids pool but that is for kids under 2 years old. Overall nothing special everything was average, nothing that i can say i loved or would go back.

Quiet and well managed. Didn’t have to fight a crowd at 5am to get a lounge chair at the pool like you do at some resorts. Food was fairly good, some nights were better than others. Breakfast options were great and good coffee. Get there before 10am to beat the crowd. We only dined at one of the specialty restaurants. It was good but nothing to write home about - but nice for options. Wish the pool was open later, they shut it down at 8pm. Would be nice if it was open till 9 or 10pm because it was definitely still warm out. Grounds were beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy to get a taxi to town. Excursions were easily accessible

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. Unfortunately we didn’t receive all the amenities that we were supposed to like our fridge being stocked with beverages daily and had to ask for our complimentary robes but hey, we can’t really complain because all the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the property was very beautiful and well maintained. We’re not really buffet fans but the specialty restaurants were amazing and the nightly shows and other entertainers were fantastic! We would definitely recommend this resort and will most likely return for another visit in the future.

Let me tell you what I LOVE! The staff especially Rene, Alan, Samuel, Jasmine and the week day chef who made me a tres leches cake fory birthday and the staff sang Happy birthday. This place is amazing and we are planning to return. I already suggested to my niece that they should honeymoon here. Is it possible to give a 10 star review? Because they deserve it!!

Doesn't tell you that you need to pay for the games room. Premium lounge was nice to have, but the snacks there look like they have sitting there all day, we never got the bottle of sparkling wine they advertise, even after mentioning it to the concierge.

Our stay at Barceló was amazing, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very attentive, the food was great. In all honesty this resort will be recommended to all my family and friends . 10/10 don’t forget to make reservations for all the restaurants they have for dinner. The buffet is open every day with no reservations needed.But they have certain restaurants that you need to reserve for your party.

We had a party of 11 and with everyone reading mixed reviews on the food some were discouraged, but we all went. We actually liked the food for the most part, and nobody got sick. Pur only complaint would be some of the management that wouldnt budge on things like accepting 1 more person on the special dining and some of the rules were kind of harsh aswell. But overall we had a great time. Thx

I’ve experienced several hotels that’s provide your bracelet as soon as you arrive even though your room isn’t ready, Barcelo made us wait for us to get our bracelet until 3pm when our room was ready. Definitely will not be using them again. Traveling all day and night for us to not be able to enjoy as soon as we get there. Unprofessional!
