The staff @ Riu Vallarta are very friendly & helpful. They all work really hard . The buffet has something for everyone but quality is just average. The other restaurants around was a disappointment. All 3 of us thought the quality would be better but it seems like they just get everything from the buffet but in a more restaurant setting. Overall experience was good. Its a nice hotel though & next time we go back we'll stay here again!

Air conditioner broke down a couple times. So did elevator. Saw cockroaches all over RIU in Italian restaurant, friend room 6027, hallways and sports bar. Low quality customer service as I invited a friend was supposed to collect points but two people told me a lie and I will never refer again. Not happy.

Beautiful hotel but it’s a long way from PV and Uber can be inconsistent. The hotel needs new umbrellas and more seating around the pools, more shade for sure. They were jackhammering walls in the hotel early in the mornings, not sure what happened there. The hotel is fantastic though and the staff were incredible, especially Victor from the entertainment team. Such a personable guy, was great with kids and families and crazy drunks (like me) alike.

water poured out of my light fixture in the middle of the night, friends had to move one had cockroaches and the other had a sewer problem... no service on beaches, crappy evening entertainment. would never go back!!!

The meal options were great, the food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant staff did an awesome job, they were extremely accommodating. The main dining area staff made you feel like family.

This was our first time at an all inclusive and the property exceeded our expectations. Perfect for families travelling, the food options were amazing , and it is located right on a really nice beach. We will definitely recommend and return.
