"Perfect locale, but hotel is showing signs of wear"
First off, we had a phenomenal view of Big Ben and the Themes. Couldn't ask for a better location. Hotel lobby is nice, but sterile. It lacks a comfortable common space to relax with a small group and unwind after a long day of walking & touring the city. Rooms were nice... well appointed, reasonably clean and thoughtfully laid out. The furniture and paneled woodwork on accent walls and kitchenette were all scratched up and worn. Definitely starting to show its age and is due for a refresh. For this reason I give them a solid 3.

Stayed here for my wife's birthday treat! Got a room upgrade to a Premier City View room, which was fantastic and gave a great view of the City and out West! Would definitely consider staying again as I don't think we made full use of the amenities, including the Pool on the 52nd floor which looked great when we went up for a quick look!

Lovely hotel. Didn't get the twin room we booked for so they upgraded us!!!!! Very modern facilities. Only thing that didn't work was the stand in shower but bath and moveable shower head worked. Would definitely stay here again.

The Manager and Staff were welcoming and helpful all weekend. The en-suite double room was small but very comfortable and supplied with fridge, bottled water, fruit and tea/coffee facilities, towels for two and very clean. Stairway was nicely carpeted and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Would recommend this hotel. Convenient to buses for city bound travel and within easy reach of Waterloo station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel offers pretty basic accommodation and not much else. The location is the real advantage - within walking distance of the city and tourist sites but on the edge of more residential areas and in an interesting neighbourhood. Probably more suitable for younger people and couples rather than families.
